[www.keralites.net] Re: [aryayouthgroup] killing of animals for daily eating - AND PETA WANTED TO STOP JALLIKATTUR BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS

We have to kill to survive. Insecticides, pesticides, weedicides are all designed to kill living things so that we can thrive and so are all antibiotics.
Wild animals are decreasing in numbers and it is generally agreed that they should be protected. In contrast livestock are multiplying. In fact there is a theory that livestock have evolved to be food for us and so we take care of them and so they multiply. If we do not eat meat or drink milk or use eggs there will not be any chicken or livestock in a century or two. So maybe the livestock are playing a trick on us by being edible so that we would take care of them and so they would multiply at the expense of the wild animals.
There is also a finding that livestock emit more carbon dioxide and other green gases than all the automobiles in the world.

  1. .. But humans cry so hard when wildfire kills animals. I don't understand.... just because they are wild, and you don't eat them, so much emotion for them? But not for the ones that end up as dead bodies on your plate? I feel sorry for them, just like these animals killed daily.
