Defying all odds, a blind boy from Karnataka's Shimoga, Abhiram Bhagwat, secured a total of 619 out of 625 in the recently declared Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB).

His accomplishment has propelled the desire to excel in academics  among the children of his age. Despite lacking vision, Bhagwat gave it all to be placed among the toppers.

Speaking to reporters, Bhagwat said, "I consider Swami Vivekananda as my role model."
