👆ABOVE 4 companies created a group , Name is ""GENERAL INSURANCE PUBLIC SECTOR ASSOCIATION ( India )"" *GIPSA*
where under this group they typed Maximum Hospitals and fixed procedure wise Limit. ( You all must have read price fixed by Govt , In STENT & for Knee Replacement Surgery).
👉If you go for cashless treatment & thr Dr. says as per your policy you will get less amount & treatment Charges are more & so the Dr will ask to pay difference amount by cash. HERE YOU NOTE THAT you will loose that EXTRA amount. Hence you must ask the Dr *GIPSA Limit* BEFORE ADMISSION OR BEFORE ANY SURGERIES IN ANY HOSPITAL EVEN IN REIMBURSEMENT YOU WILL GET LESS AMOUNT SO " ALWAYS talk WITH Dr THAT AFTER FULFILLING BASIC CONDITIONS ( Bed charge + Nursing charge total does not cross to 1 % of Policy Amount) THEN ALSO IF ANY AMOUNT YOU GETTING LESS AS GIPSA LIMIT OR REASONABILITY CLAUSE , THEN ," HOSPITAL MUST GIVE REFUND OF THAT AMOUNT " We Say this is DIFFICULT TO IMPLEMENT BUT IN FUTURE YOU MUST LEARN TO BARGAIN WITH the Drs.
Also wants to add recent case came to us , where Dr has denied receipt of difference amount PLEASE TAKE PROPER BILL AND PROPER RECEIPT FOR total AMOUNTS, in some Nursing Homes they do not provide PRE PRINTED BILLS OR PRE PRINTED RECEIPT (BOTH MUST be NUMBERED)
Also Govt has created Following Dept for Complaining against hospital or Dr who are not co-operating in Rates , Charges as per GIPSA RATES
for such matter, register a complaint @
