SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: I blame sugar for my family's cancer, says ex wife of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood :-

For decades, Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo has denied herself all sorts of culinary treats after making the life-changing decision to give up sugar for good.



Now, the former model reveals she believes all that sacrificing has made her immune to cancer for the rest of her life.

 Her claim comes just months after her younger sister, Lize McCaron (pictured below right with Jo), had a double mastectomy following a breast cancer diagnosis last year.

Their late grandmother underwent the same procedure after a tumour was found, and their mother, Rachel, who died last year, also developed the disease — though she got the all-clear following a lumpectomy

 Businesswoman Jo, who has long been an advocate of healthy eating, has concluded that her family's history with the life-threatening illness stems from an excessive intake of sugar.
