They say every individual should experience living alone at least once in a lifetime. Not only it is liberating, it is quite empowering as well. Unfortunately, a lot of social stigma is attached with living alone, with some researchers calling it lethal since many studies suggest that social interactions are a must for human beings. Yet plenty of people swear by how much pleasure doing things alone can bring.Living alone can actually be good for us at it makes us independent and helps to have a clear mind. Now that Valentine s Day is just around the corner, for some single ladies, its the time to brood and curse the love gods for the lack of love in their lives. While for others the only Valentine they want to celebrate with is themselves. Amid all this, heres Idalia Candelas, a Mexico-based illustrator who has captured the beautiful concept of staying alone in this series called Postmodern Loneliness'. She has successfully brought attention to the beauty of being alone with these black and white illustrations which shows the many perks of living all by yourself. Even though there are no men in the picture, love is still in the air! Check it out:#1 Dress up, look sexy and hot without fearing anyone's judgment
