Home remedy for dark and thick black hair
Ingredients
Hibiscus (Shoe flower) the dark red ones 20 nos
Coconut oil 200 ml
Method
Heat the coconut oil and when it nears the boiling point, drop the shoe flowers with the stalk into the oil. As soon as the flowers are dropped remove the coconut oil from heat and allow it to cool. Strain out the flowers and store the oil in a bottle in a cool place. Apply this oil to your hair everyday for healthy hair growth.
Oil make from hibiscus flower or the leaves, help to grow your hair longer and maintain long hair, prevent split end by using the oil on your hair end. The flowers can use as a hair rinse to thicken your hair. To make the hair rinse crush about ten flowers depend on your hair length, you may need more or less, crush it until it become a paste, add a little water to the paste and mix it well, apply it to your hair after shampoo, leave it on for 15 to 30 minutes then rinse it out, this treatment make your hair soft and shinny too.
I found out that the hibiscus flowers help stop grey hair, this is good news for me, I am in my late thirties now but I start to notice grey hair from I was about 31, I was surely not happy about that so I start to use any thing natural that I know about to fight against it, so hibiscus oil will definitely be apart of my grey hair treatment. Hibiscus oil is also effective in treating dandruff. The dry powder can add to your shampoo for a healthier wash. There are many kind of hibiscus with almost the same benefits, here I am using two different flowers.
For your hibiscus hair treatment You can use your favorite oil, I use coconut oil, make more oil if you want, but to make 4 oz wash 8 flowers and let the water dry from them, break into small peaces put in a small bottle, poor oil until the flowers is slightly cover and place in the sun for two weeks before it will be ready to use or you can leave the flowers in the sun for about three days or until they are crispy dry, ground and mix in oil, you can start to use it right away. If you are using the soft hibiscus flowers, warm olive oil or coconut oil and poor it over the fresh flowers , strain after two days.
