Severity of flaking may vary from summer to winter. Apart from itching and redness, it does cause social problems as well. A person prone to severe dandruff may also be unable to wear dark clothes.

Here is what is sure to work for you –

• ·Soak 2 table spoons of fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foenum-graecum, methi, menthya, ventayam, menthiyam, mentulu) overnight.

• ·Grind into a fine paste in the morning.

• ·Rub a thin layer of aloe vera gel into your scalp.

• ·Apply the paste all over your scalp and leave it for half an hour.

• ·Wash off with mild shampoo.

If you have a fairly severe case of dandruff and it persists -

• ·Mix some apple cider vinegar into the above paste before you apply.

• ·Leave it for half an hour as aforesaid.

• ·Wash off with mild shampoo.

If you have a very severe case of dandruff -

• ·Mix some apple cider vinegar as mentioned above.

• ·Leave it for half an hour as aforesaid.

• ·Take a little shampoo and crush two aspirins into a fine powder and mix it well, massage it into your hair and leave it on for 1-2 minutes.

• ·Wash off with mild shampoo.

Washing your hair twice a week initially and once a week / fortnight thereafter with the above ingredients should ensure that you get rid of the problem permanently.
