Marco Bonechi was born in Florence the 31st of May 1944 and has lived with his wife Franca for 30 years in Figline Valdarno (FI). His first works were small pictures in oil from 1968 that portray the poetry of the farmhouses and the silently decayed castles in the heart of the Tuscan countryside where he decided to make his home and his family. Later, along with his wife, he followed a direction called pointed incision pointed and original dry etchings. These two techniques were used as the springboard for the artist in both the Italian and foreign graphics market. Starting from the'80s and continuing up until the present day, Marco has dedicated a lot of artistic "activity" in a wide range of styles and techniques, from oil painting on both canvas and wood, depicting Tuscan landscapes and classical ruins, to graphics, numbering sereral hundred of sculptures and engravings in terracotta, bronze and silver. For the artist, however, all this is not enough; Marco is always looking for something that no one has yet created, a technique never tried, a landscape never seen, architecture rich in fantasy and mystical qualities, in short a perfect example of what can be called "Researcher of Art".
