Let's get more involved in our National Budget! 

 

Budget 2014: While most media paint a picture that budget is about Business Economy,

 it is also something that involves every taxpayer citizen - 

because our National Budget describes how the Govt is using Tax Payers'/ Public money, resources assets. 

 

Is Govt using the money wisely? 

Is it being responsible careful with how it spends OUR money deals with OUR natural resources and assets?

 Is it investing OUR money wisely to create better living for all? Is it being wasteful with OUR money assets? 

Is the Govt borrowing too much creating liabilities and difficulties for future generations?

 

All these issues concern you, me our families their futures! 

 

For many years the Budget has been a closed obscure document that could be understood 

and unravelled by serious Economists if at all. The National Budget needs to be simplified more more citizens must engage

 in it. In future, budgets must be shaped by public opinion as much as Industry bodies and other groups. 

 

This year's Budget 2014 is a very critical one because the #UPA Govt has left our Economy Govt finances in shambles; 

with the country at a fiscal precipice some clever jugglery of figures book keeping, leaving a Govt that's borrowing Rs. 68 crore per hour!

 

So I hope as part of #TransformIndia, You I, every citizen will be more involved understand the importance of the National Budget,

 especially this year's as we start the process of rebuilding our economy!
