Re: [www.keralites.net] എല്ലാ ഇന്ത്യകാരും വായിചിരികണ്ടത്.....

Yes, Doctor, You are correct. The most concerned field is Health care. I remember, before a Govt of India owned company called IDPL (Indian Drugs & Pharmaceutical Ltd) was manufacturing most of the essential medicines and made it available in the market on very cheaper price without comprimising the quality. If any multinational company wants to introduce their new products in the market, first they must give the technology licence to IDPL. Then only they can introduce their products. But Mr. Manmohan's liberal economy policy abolished this regulation and given free hand to multinationals. One example  I can mention below. In 1980's Johnson & Johnson introduced a new product Mebendazole in the market. At that time the price for 6 tablets was 30 INR. The same medicine marketed by IDPL's price in the market is 1.50 INR. See the difference. Since the govt policy always safeguard the manufacturers, common man suffers miserably to buy the life saving medicines, which costs very high now. We have to do something on this matter othewise, multinationals can wipeout all from India. Our politicians mentality should be changed and they have to think about common man also. I am not blaming any particular party. Whoever, comes to power should safeguard common people and our nations interest.

Kumaresan

Good article. But more alarming is the invasion of foreign companies to our healthcare system. The proposed clinical establishment act by the govt of India will wipe out all the
Small and medium sized hospitals in India and will be replaced by hospitals wit western standards. Bill even suggested privatization of our govt owned primary health care centers On the argument tat they are not meeting specified standards. Few us based firms are in the pipeline to takeover these centers on the claim that they have international standards. Funny thing is that there are 2-3 uk firms are on the line. In uk healthcare is fully owned by govt.
These are all part of the westernization of manmohansingh govt and this all definitely increase the healthcare system.
So please discuss the new clinical establishment act

Dear Mr. Jinto,

I feel this article so useful. But I had a suggestion that if you want the common man to follow it, it seems that the media including the movies should promote the below mentioned since those have a huge influence on Indian mass. Afteral the KFC, McDonalds etc had a big impact on Indian mass after it had featured in movies as part of lifestyle of the rich people and though vast advertisements. I appreciate the below article as the first step towards the goal of stable Indian economy.

Best regards
Harry
