മാലദ്വീപില്‍ മൂന്നാഴ്ച നീണ്ട രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രതിസന്ധികള്‍ക്കൊടുവില്‍ പ്രസിഡന്റ് മുഹമ്മദ്‌ നഷീല്‍ രാജി വച്ചു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം അമ്പതോളം പോലീസ് സേനാംഗങ്ങള്‍ പ്രക്ഷോഭകര്‍ക്കൊപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന്‍ സൈന്യവുമായി ഏറ്റുമുട്ടിയിരുന്നു.

പ്രസിഡന്റ് മുഹമ്മദ്‌ നഷീല്‍ രാജി പ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തുന്നു.

രാജി പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിനു ശേഷം പുറത്തു പോകുന്ന നഷീല്‍.

വൈസ്‌ പ്രസിഡന്റ് വഹീദ് ഹസ്സന്‍ താല്‍ക്കാലിക ചുമതലയേല്‍ക്കുന്നു.
