Very good subject. People need to respond. It is high time Keralite society realised the need to rise above petty politics for the over all development of the State. By development I mean alround development of the society. It should start from each family. Our society is decaying every passing day. It will soon become non functional as a society. Young generation have no values at all. Can't blame them; nothing inspiring happens in Kerala nowadays. Our social fabric is disintegrating beyond repair. Having high literacy meant that we come to contact with latest technology and luxury items quite early and in fact the moment a new consumer product/ technology is adopted anywhere in the world, the same comes to Kerala immediately. People area busy with mobiles, ipod, laptop and the like but by indulging in such material things we forget to live a peaceful harmonious life for whcih Kerala was known for in the yesteryears. Combined with highly charged politics atmosphere we feel helpless in every sphere. All other states in India are desperately trying to develop themselves and competing each other to attract investment and develop infrastructure; we never talk about these things. Political leaders organise street gatherings and road blocks and give eloquent speeches about his political opponent, and get applause from the gathering. By planting the seeds of hatred and violence, they ensure that their species live and thrive and lead luxurious life styles at the expense of the poor who find it very difficult to live in Kerela.
It seems we never respond to anything worth responding; otherwise we keep on harping about silly things. Wake up Keralites!

ഇടതും വലതും നടുവും എല്ലാം കൂടി ഭരിച്ചു കേരളം ഒരു വശത്താക്കുന്നു. മൂല്യധിഷ്ട്ടിത ധാര്‍മിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഇല്ലാത്തതാണോ നമ്മുടെ പ്രശ്നം? അറുന്നൂറു കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ നീളവും ,ഇരുന്നൂറു കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ വീതിയും മാത്രം ഉള്ള നമ്മുടെ റോഡുകള്‍ എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് നന്നാവാത്തത്?,കേരളത്തിലെ ഓരോ അഭ്യസ്ത വിദ്യര്‍ ആയവരും മറ്റു സംസ്കാരങ്ങളെയും,രാജ്യങ്ങളെയും ആശ്രയിക്കേണ്ട വരുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ തന്നെ പോരായ്മ അല്ലെ? എന്താണിതിനൊരു പോംവഴി, കേരള രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിനെ ക്കുറിച്ച് ഓരോ കുഞ്ഞിനും അറിയാം.എന്ത് പോംവഴി ആണ് നിര്‍ദേശിക്കാന്‍ ഉള്ളത്? എങ്ങനെ നമ്മുടെ നാട് നന്നാവും? എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു അസാധ്യം എന്ന്. ഒരിക്കലും നന്നാകില്ല എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. മതവും, രാഷ്ട്രീയവും, പണവും കൂടി മൊത്തം തറ.
മനുഷ്യതവും, മനുഷ്യ സ്നേഹവും രാജ്യസ്നേഹവും,മൂല്യങ്ങളും ഉള്ള എന്ത് പ്രത്യയ ശാസ്ത്രം ഉണ്ട് നമുക്ക് പകരം വയ്ക്കാന്‍...കലികാലം മാറ്റം വരും എന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാം...ശക്തമായ ഒരു പ്രകൃതി ദുരന്തമോ, പകര്ച്ചവ്യാധിയോ ആഞ്ഞടിച്ചാല്‍ ചില്ല് പോലെ പൊട്ടി തകര്‍ന്നു പോകും നമ്മുടെ സാമൂഹ്യ കെട്ടുറപ്പ്, നേരിടാന്‍ ആകാതെ, സഹിഷ്ണുത എന്നത് കേരളത്തിന്റെ മണ്ണില്‍ നിന്നും എന്നെ പൊയ്ക്കഴിഞ്ഞു...സ്വന്തം മതം,സ്വന്തം രാഷ്ട്രീയം,സ്വന്തം പണം അത്ര മാത്രം... മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ നശിക്കെണ്ടവര്‍, തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെടെണ്ടാവര്‍. കേരളത്തിന്റെ പഴയ കാര്‍ഷിക,ഗ്രാമ സംസ്കാരങ്ങള്‍,തനതു പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാം നശിച്ചതാണ് ഈ മൂല്യച്യുതിക്ക് കാരണം..തിരികെ പോയെ തീരൂ നാം

AnishAt last some one wrote it, break your silence. I am not an ardent supporter of Congress, but seeing development in other states around us, and comparing the sad plight of our state, we need a change for the better.Is Nirmal Madhav, Balakrishna Pillai, the only hot issues in Kerala. No developmental issues, we have only time to strike, bandh, hartal and no time to think about development of our state. See in case of Tamilnadu any thing they need from the centre, opposition and ruling party unitedly go for the state. Here we are, busy with silly political issues. All the MLA's are coming to the assembly to go home early (walkout). We had too many bandhs for petrol price hike (which happened all over India - but always only Kerala politicians react) and did the price come down. When left was ruling the state, did they reduce the tax at least once, and now they are vigorously reacting..... How can children study in a state with too many strikes? No wonder if they go to other states for studying.What a shame.....What Swami Vivekananda said years back is coming true about Kerala.Better late than never.
