1.       பூலோகம் / தற்போது நாம் வாழும் லோகம் 
2.       தேவலோகம்/ இது சொர்க்கலோகம், வைகுண்டலோகம், சிவலோகம், எமலோகம், என்ற புண்ணியலோகமாகும் 
3.       நரகலோகம்/ இது நாம் பூலோகத்தில் நாம் பண்ணிய பாவ கர்மங்களால் நமக்கு கிடைக்கும் தண்டனை லோகமாகும். இந்த மூன்று லோகங்களிலும் சிறந்தது நாம் வாழு்ம் இந்த பூலோகமே என்கிறார் பெரியவர், ஏனெனின், இங்கு தான் நாம் நல்லதோ அல்லது கெட்டதோ அவரவர் இஸ்டத்திற்கு செயல்பட வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது இங்கு நாம் செய்யும் பாவ புண்ணிய ெசயல்களுக்கு தக்க நமக்கு மற்ற இரு லோகங்களும் கிடைக்கும், மேலும் நம் ஆன்மிக அருளாளர்கள் இவ் லோகத்தில் மீண்டும்மீண்டும் பிறவா நிலையும் வேண்டும் என்கிறார்கள், அவ்வாறு பிறந்தால் இறைவரை மறவா நிலை வேண்டும் என்றனா். 
இவ் பூலோக வாழ்வில் மானிட பிறவி, மாயையிலிருந்து விடுபட, இனியும் பிறவா நிலை பெற, பூலோக வாழ்வில் ஈ்டேற ஆத்மாவிற்கு எட்டு குணங்கள் வேண்டும் என்கிறார். அவை ; 
1.  தயை / ஈகை. என்ற பிறஉயிர்களிடத்தில் காட்டும்அன்பு 
2.சாந்தி / அமைதி என்ற ஆரவாரம் அற்ற குணம் 
3.அனுசூயை / பொறாமையற்ற குணம் 
4.செளதம் / சுத்தம் புறஉடல் சுத்தம் அக சுத்தம் 
5.மங்களம் / அமங்கலமற்ற, நல்ல செயல், பேச்சு 
6.அனாயகம் / எதிலும் பதட்டமற்ற குணம் 
7.அகார்ப்பம் / தாராள குணம், கஞ்சத்தனமற்ற குணம் 
8.அப்பிரஹா / ஆசையற்ற குணம் 
இவ் பூலோக வாழ்வில் நம் ஆத்மாவிற்கு மேற்கண்ட எட்டு குணங்கள் கொண்டு வாழ்ந்து வந்தால் இனி இந்த லோகத்தில் பிறவா நிலையும் தேவலோகம் அடையலாம் என்கிறார். திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்
