RE: [www.keralites.net] Can we trust some type of doctors nowadays?

Why you are hiding the name of the hospital and doctor from this message, it has already come in newspapers.  The name of the hospital and doctor getting publicity is enough punishment for them as no one will ever go there and the hospital will be closed and the doctor will become jobless

Subject: [www.keralites.net] Can we trust some type of doctors nowadays?

In today's world we are sort of tuned to expect unprecedented news and happenings. But how we cope and behave
makes us what we are. Above all, it has become a real necessity for every person to have total faith in Almighty

God and to daily seek His guidance and care to start the day. I believe in this practice, as I know and have seen

that people who start the day with a quiet time with the Lord have a better direction and purpose in life than others.

Can we trust some type of doctors nowadays?

"We say that doctors are angels sent by god to save human life. But for me the same doctors has come as the demon in my life to ruin it in pieces.

Due to few doctors negligence I lost my husband's life just like a water bubble. Few days back we were a happy family with ambition and future plans for our upcoming life.

But who knew life threatening danger was waiting on our way to shatter my family.

My Husband Girish had a heart blockage which we never knew until the last day of his life just because the doctor could not find it.

Fun & Info @ Keralites.net

On 13th June after lunch he was playing with our 6 months old baby and suddenly he started vomiting then complained of stretching of throat and jaw muscle, breathing problem little pain in the heart. As we stay in BTM, Bengaluru, so I took him to a renowned hospital that is nearest to our place. The attendant doctor checked him and asked us to do an ECG and blood test. Both were done immediately. Then they admitted him and gave saline and few medicines. The main doctor of the hospital Dr.K.N.Pcame for roundsand checked him and said this is nothing but dehydration and throat infection he will be alright soon.

I have no idea that whether he had checked the ECG report or not. That night we stayed in the hospital. Till then Girish was telling he was not feeling comfortable as his arms are paining and he is not able to breathe properly. I asked the attendant doctor about the ECG and blood report. He said everything seems "Normal". He gave him a pain killer and sleeping tablets and said you will be alright just try to sleep.

The next day morning 10 AM Dr.K.N.Pagain visited and checked Girish andasked how he is feeling. Girish told he is little better as he took the pain killer medicines. Dr said today they will discharge him and to take the rest at home for 2 to 3 days he will feel better. They gave some antibiotics and pain killer tablets and discharged him.

14th June 2 pm we came home. After we came home daily Girish was getting fever and complaining of breathing problem. Again 17th June evening I took him to the same hospital to check why his fever is not coming down. For our surprise, Dr. K.N.P refused to check him as we didn't have an appointment. I requested them that its urgent as my husband was admitted here only. They said we can check with other doctors if we want. So we checked with a general physician there and showed the previous reports. Still they could not find what the problem with Girish is and asked us to do a blood test. The test was done in an hour and showed some infection. Till that time, the doctor was gone and other general doctor came (attendant doctor on 13th June night) saw the blood report and told its nothing but throat infection and wrote high power antibiotics and sleeping tablets. I gave him those medicines after dinner but that night Girish could not sleep for a second also.

Next day morning i.e 18th June I took him to a private clinic in Indira Nagar with the help of my brother. There the doctor was shocked to see the ECG report taken on 13th June and asked us why nobody has not seen this ECG report before. It was clearly mentioned there that Girish got his first attack that day.

We were dumb stuck with his words. Dr. immediately referred us to go to Chinmaya Mission hospital and get admitted. In CMH, the doctors told it's too much delayed but still we will try our best and did angioplasty same day. After 2 hours of operation, Girish was fine but suddenly his condition got worst. Doctor called us and told chances of his survival is 1% only god can help him. At 11 pm night, Girish left this world leaving us alone. The heart blockage was 100% so blood flow to few area was totally blocked and the cells were died off in that area.

As a result after clearance of the blockage also the cells could not accept the blood and his heart ruptured. If the doctors would have noticed the ECG report the same day of attack Girish would have survived.

Sorry for such a long post but I don't want anyone else suffer like me so wanted all of you to know about it. Whenever any of your near and dear ones complain of breathing problem, jaw and throat muscle stretch, arms getting pain then immediately check with cardiology specialist without any delay. Because it's a sign of heart attack.

I am going to put a case on the hospital for such a negligence act. But meantime I want everybody to spread this message as much as possible so that no one else should suffer like me in future.

Many people already asked if he had any BAD HABITS.. want to clarify right away.. NO, he didn't have ANY bad habits."

The Logical Indian appeals to our members:
'If you start developing symptoms suggestive of a heart attack, please approach the nearest emergency department. Remember the classic symptoms include discomfort/ heaviness in the chest, which can radiate towards both shoulders, arms, neck, jawline or back, shortness of breath, sweating and dizziness. In some cases, less specific signs like sweating and vomiting may be the only features. While it is usually seen in older men, younger men and women also have some risk of getting an attack and require caution. '

Disclaimer: Following is an account of a lady who lost her husband tragically soon. We haven't been able to reach the concerned authorities for comment and intend to convey the following message for your benefit. The Logical Indian is committed to helping you stay informed and thus post is not intended to blame the medical community as a whole. We request you to keep the discussion respectful.

[www.keralites.net] 8 Basic Errors Muslims make when paying Zakat Al-Fitr

8 Basic Errors Muslims make when paying Zakat Al-Fitr

I feel compelled to put this together because I've seen the following errors being committed even since I was a young boy. In sha Allah, you can help me spread the word by sharing this article with your community, friends and family.

What is Zakat Al-Fitr? Think "Iftar", Zakat Al-Fitr is the charity that we pay at the end of Ramadan. Here is the foundational hadith that establishes the obligation of Zakat Al-Fitr:

Ibn `Umar reported that the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) , made Zakat al-Fitr compulsory on

every slave, freeman, male, female, young and old among the Muslims; one Saa` (a measurement: four double handfuls) of dried dates or one Saa` of barely. [Sahih Bukhari - Arabic/English, vol. 2, p. 339, no. 579]

But unfortunately, our community makes some basic errors in the payment of Zakat Al-Fitr that must be clarified.

Error One: Paying at Eid Salah

Some people go to Eid prayers and drop money into the donation box thinking that they have paid their Zakat Al-Fitr. No, Zakat al-Fitr, which is food, must be in the hands of the needy family BEFORE Eid prayer. If someone goes to Eid prayer and pays then it is GUARANTEED that the money will NOT arrive on time. And thus the person paying is sinful
for having missed the payment of Zakat al-Fitr. May Allah forgive us.

Error Two: Snail mailing the money overseas Basic principle as before

The Zakat al-Fitr, food, MUST be in the hands of the needy BEFORE Eid prayer. One cannot mail the money overseas
and have it arrive in the hands of the needy after Eid prayer is over. However, if one is able to get the Zakah al-Fitr to the needy overseas BEFORE Eid prayer is conducted in their locality, then in sha Allah it's alright.

Error Three: Not paying

Yes, as simple as this error is, it is HARAM to skip the payment of Zakat Al-Fitr. EVERYONE must pay Zakat Al-Fitr, every member of the household. So if you have 8 people in your house, Zakat Al-Fitr must be paid x 8, even if the youngest member is just a few days old.

Error Four: Confusing Zakat Al-Fitr with Zakat ul-Maal

We are talking about Zakat al-Fitr here (think "Iftar", i.e. Ramadan). Zakat Al-Maal (Maal literally means wealth), is the Zakah due on ones money – and that could be due any time during the year depending on when it was due.

Error Five: Giving money instead of food

Although some scholars have allowed giving money instead of food, the spirit of Zakat Al-Fitr is to give food to the needy of the community, NOT money. (One can give money to the local masjid in charge and they can give food with that money inshallah). The Companion of the Prophet, Abu Sa`eed al-Khudree, radi Allahu 'anhu , said, "In the Prophet's time, we used to give it (Zakatal-Fitr) as a sa` of food, dried dates, barley, raisins or dried cheese". [Bukhari - Arabic/English vol. 2, p. 340, no. 582]

Error Six: Giving one's Zakah al-Fitr to a charitable building project

Some people mistakenly give their Zakah Al-Fitr to a charitable building project: like the building of a Masjid, or Islamic school. There is a difference of opinion on this issue, but suffice it to say that the spirit of Zakah Al-Fitr is that the needy should have plentiful food on Eid. All eight types of recipients of Zakah mentioned in the Quran are HUMANS, not "building projects".

Error Seven: Giving Zakat Al-Fitr to non-Muslims

Charity is given to both Non-Muslims and Muslims. However, Zakah al-Fitr charity is something exclusive to the MUSLIM poor and needy. Hence, one could not give Zakah Al-Fitr to any needy person on the street. "Regular" charity can be given to them, but not Zakah Al-Fitr.

Error Eight: Delaying distribution

Sometimes Masjids might collect Zakah Al-Fitr money and then put it in a bank. It doesn't reach the needy for months and months. The correct method is to give Zakah Al-Fitr immediately when it is due.

These are my eight. You are welcome to share other common errors on comment section . Insha'Allah, if you have Zakah questions, I encourage you to seek counsel from your local sources of knowledge. People you can speak to directly. With best wishes to see you succeed at the highest level!

And Allah knows Best!

[www.keralites.net] 8 Changes To Make If You Really Want To Be Successful

Nobody wants to be broke or to be struggling financially. Failure is never a decent destination, and thus we all try to avoid it. Yet on the subject of success, it seems you are falling behind and not getting it right even when you feel you are doing everything right. What is that extra factor or determinant that distinguishes the mediocre from the successful? What do you need to change now to improve your chances of success and become the person you have always wanted to be? Perhaps what you need to do is to change your course and set sail on the right channel to success. This is how you start:

1. Develop absolute clarity

It is easy to blame the government, your boss, a poor economy, etc. for keeping you from success. Clarity is important in taking charge of your life and determining your success. Know what you want and be 100 percent clear about it. By doing this, you can clear out all distractions and energy burners that seem to be taking you in the wrong direction.

2. Improve your relationships

It is not hard to figure out why certain people are failures – just stare at their circle of influence. If you are around five millionaires, you will be the sixth. If you are around five top athletes, you will be the sixth. If you are around five confident people, you will be the sixth. If you are around five intelligent people, you will be the sixth. Try to be the sixth man by improving your circle of influence. Make sure you draw closer to people that will drive you to success and not away from it.

3. Stop being busy rather be productive

People live busy lives and think that the more they work, the more successful they will become. They even take pride in the status of being busy. However, it is better for you to rethink the term "busy" or "hard work." Being busy doesn't make you more productive. Doing "smart" work is what's necessary to be successful. Try to rearrange your priorities and either eliminate or delegate those activities that do not propel you to your goals.

4. Change your attitude

Whether it is towards work or towards challenges and obstacles that you will face, it is important to have the right attitude to meet with what will be presented to you. The right attitude builds your belief system and increases your confidence, character, and energy. People who are unsuccessful show poor attitude and lack charisma. Improve your attitude and you will attract success.

5. Take care of your health

Many do not understand this. They take their mental and physical health for granted. They get less sleep and eat unhealthy meals. To boost your performance and productivity, you have to learn to take care of your health and offer your body what it needs to take you to success.

6. Be organized

This means diligently following a routine and sticking to a schedule. Be organized, plan ahead, and stay consistent on the track to success. There will be many distractions; some can be really flattery and appealing, but success means sticking to what will work for you rather than what works for every other person.

7. Be passionate

Whatever you are doing must be done right. Strive for excellence rather than sticking to mediocrity. This is why passion is essential to becoming successful. You have to love and enjoy the process as you move on the journey to success. Every successful person is passionate about what they do.

8. Act now

The difference between successful people and those who are not successful is that unsuccessful people wait for things to happen. You can't afford that. You have to dive into the ocean to engage in the swim. There cannot be a more perfect time to start journeying to success than now. Don't wait. Don't procrastinate. Go after your dreams.
