In a Nursery School Canteen, there was a basket of Apples with a notice written over it: Do not take more than one, God is watching.
On the other counter there was a box of chocolates. A small child went wrote on it: Take as many as u want, God is busy watching the Apples.
Moral: NEVER ACT SMART WITH today's generation...!!!

 

KID: Why some of your hairs are white, Dad?
DAD: Every time you make me unhappy, one of my hairs turns white...
KID: Now I understand why Grandpa's all hairs are white...
Moral: Don't be over smart with today's kids!

 

Child: Mummy why Gandhiji had no hair on his head?
Mummy: Because he spoke truth only.
Child: Now I understood why ladies have long hairs...
The moral remains the same!

ഇ-മെയിലിന്റെ പിതാവ്‌ ആരെന്ന്‌ ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ ടോംലിന്‍സണ്‍ എന്ന്‌ എല്ലാവരും പറയും. എന്നാല്‍, ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വംശജനായ ശാസ്‌ത്രജ്‌ഞന്‍ ശിവ അയ്യാദുരൈയെ ആരും അറിയുകയുമില്ല. ഇമെയില്‍ സംവിധാനം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചതിന്‌ യുഎസ്‌ സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ അംഗീകാരം സ്വന്തമാക്കിയ ആളാണ്‌ ദുരൈ.

പതിനാലാം വയസ്സിലാണ്‌ ഭാവിയില്‍ വിപ്ലവം സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ച കണ്ടുപിടുത്തം നടത്തി അയ്യാദുരൈ ചരിത്രം സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ചത്‌. ന്യൂജഴ്‌സിയിലെ ലിവിംഗ്‌സ്റ്റണ്‍ സ്‌കൂളില്‍ പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്താണ്‌ അയ്യാദുരൈ മെഡിസിന്‍ ആന്‍ഡ്‌ ഡെന്‍ട്രിസ്‌ട്രി സര്‍വകലാശാലയ്‌ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഇ മെയില്‍ സംവിധാനം ഒരുക്കാനുളള ശ്രമം ആരംഭിച്ചത്‌. 1978 ല്‍ 'ഇന്റര്‍ ഓഫീസ്‌ മെയില്‍' സംവിധാനം വിജയകരമായി വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുക്കകയും ചെയ്‌തു.

1982 ല്‍ തന്റെ കണ്ടുപിടുത്തത്തിന്‌ ഇ-മെയില്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ പകര്‍പ്പവകാശം സ്വന്തമാക്കി. അക്കാലത്ത്‌ പേറ്റന്റിനു പകരം സോഫ്‌റ്റ്വെയര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തലുകള്‍ക്കും പകര്‍പ്പവകാശമായിരുന്നു നല്‍കിയിരുന്നത്‌. അതേവര്‍ഷം തന്നെ ദുരൈയുടെ മികവിന്‌ 'വെസ്‌റ്റിംഗ്‌ഹൗസ്‌ സയന്‍സ്‌ ടാലന്റ്‌ സെര്‍ച്ച്‌ അവാര്‍ഡും' അംഗീകാരമായി.

പിന്നീട്‌ മെയില്‍ സോര്‍ട്ട്‌ ചെയ്യാനുളള സൗകര്യം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നതില്‍ വിജയിച്ച ദുരൈയ്‌ക്ക് വൈറ്റ്‌ഹൗസ്‌ അംഗീകാരവും സ്വന്തമായി. ഇത്‌ പീന്നീട്‌ വന്‍കിട വ്യാപാരികള്‍ക്ക്‌ സഹായമായ ഇക്കോ മെയിലിന്റെ പിറവിയെ സഹായിച്ചു.

ഇ-മെയിലിന്റെ ഉപജ്‌ഞാതാക്കള്‍ എന്ന്‌ മറ്റ്‌ പലരും അവകാശപ്പെടുന്നതിനാല്‍ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര്‍ സാങ്കേതികതയുടെ മേഖലയില്‍ ദുരൈ ഉന്നയിക്കുന്ന അവകാശവാദം എന്നും തര്‍ക്കവിഷയമാണ്‌.

​Pipe Guy Plays Techno Music using PVC Pipes and Flip-Flops

Playing a live set in Rundle Mall, Adelaide, South Australia on my homemade PVC pipe instrument, played with a pair of flip-flops as drumsticks. Jake Clark, aka the "Pipe Guy", performs a melody of house, trance, and techno music on his instrument and it Sounds Amazing.

Question 

There are three frogs on a leaf. If one of them decided to jump off the leaf into the water, How many frogs are left on the leaf ?

Why ?

Because the frog only DECIDED to jump ! It didn't !

 

Ponder over this, my friends…….

Are we not like the frog ; who decides to do this, decides to do that, but ended up doing any ?

 

In life, we have to make my decisions. Some easy, some hard. Most mistakes are not made by wrong decisions. Most mistakes are made due to indecision. We have to live with the consequences of our decisions. And that is RISK.
