Once a bright intelligent young man went for IAS (Indian Civil Service) interview. He was asked -

 
Q 1. When did India get independence?

 
He answered - The efforts started long back; but could succeed in 1947.

 
Q 2. Who were the persons, who played important role in this fight for independence?

 
Answer - There are many people, who were involved and contributed in this. If I give a name, it will be injustice to others.

 
Q 3. Do you think, corruption is the greatest enemy of the country?

 
Answer - A committee is investigating in this matter. I can give a correct reply to this only after seeing the report.

 
The interview board was impressed by his original ideas. They asked him to wait outside; but also advised him not to reveal the questions, as they may ask the same questions to other candidates also.

 
When the young man went out of the room, Sardar inquired about the questions asked. The young man said that he had promised the interview board not to disclose the questions.

 
But, Sardar found a way out. "Tell me the answer you gave"..

 
The young man, thought it to be okay, as he was not going back on his words of "not disclosing the QUESTIONS". So he gave him the three answer which Sardar quickly learnt by heart.

 
When Sardar went in for interview, this is what happened.

 
Q 1. When were you born?

 
Sardar:- The efforts started long back, but could succeed in 1947.

 
Interviewers got confused...they asked next question.

 
Q 2. What is your father's name?

 
Sardar :- There are many people, who were involved and contributed in this. If I give a name, it will be injustice to others.

 
The board members were shocked at the reply..they said.

 
Q 3. Are you mad?

 
Sardar :- A committee is investigating in this matter. I can give a correct reply to this only after seeing the report.

"Listen," said the CEO, "this is a very sensitive and important document here, and my secretary has gone for the night. Can you make this thing work?"

A young businessman had just started his own firm. He'd rented a beautiful office and had it furnished with antiques.
Sitting there, he saw a man come into the outer office. Wishing to appear busy, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working. He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments.
Finally, he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"
The man said, "Sure. I've been asked to install the phone line."

 

 
Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Person asked the young MBA fresh out of MIT, "And what starting salary were you looking for?"

 
The candidate said, "In the neighborhood of $125,000 a year, depending on the benefits package."

 
The HR Person said, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5-weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and a company car leased every 2 years - say, a red Corvette?"

 
The Engineer sat up straight and said, "Wow!!! Are you kidding?"

educational and economic development,

as this is the only nation with the best of natural and manpower resource in the world despite our poverty.


 

To me none of the present politicians standing for election should ever be voted to power.

They had their chances and this being the only country with the free power of the ballot,

people should cast their votes wisely for new ethical candidates.

തിരു: കൊല്ലത്ത് ജലോത്സവ വേദിയില്‍ തന്നെ അപമാനിച്ചത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് എംപി എന്‍ പീതാംബരക്കുറുപ്പ് ആണെന്ന് ചലച്ചിത്ര നടി ശ്വേത മേനോന്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. വേദിയില്‍ കയറിയതുമുതല്‍ ഇറങ്ങുംവരെ തന്നെ പലതവണ അപമാനിക്കാന്‍ പീതാംബരക്കുറുപ്പ് ശ്രമിച്ചതായാണ് ശ്വേതയുടെ പരാതി. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് കൊല്ലം കലക്ടറോടും ആര്‍ഡിഒയോടും പരാതി പറഞ്ഞതായും അവര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍, കേസെടുക്കാനോ അന്വേഷിക്കാനോ തയ്യാറാകാതെ സര്‍ക്കാരും പൊലീസും ഒളിച്ചുകളിക്കുകയാണ്. അതേസമയം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് പരാതി നല്‍കുമെന്ന് ശ്വേത ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു. മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ അവര്‍ പലപ്പോഴും വിങ്ങിപ്പൊട്ടി. തനിക്ക് നേരിട്ട അപമാനം മറക്കാനാകില്ലെന്നും താന്‍ കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞെന്ന് വരുത്താന്‍ കലക്ടര്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചെന്നും ശ്വേത പറഞ്ഞു.
 
ശ്വേത രേഖാമൂലം പരാതി നല്‍കിയാല്‍ മാത്രമേ കേസ് എടുക്കൂ എന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് നിലപാട്. സ്വമേധയാ കേസെടുക്കില്ലെന്ന്ഡിജിപി കെ എസ് ബാലസുബ്രഹ്മണ്യം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പരാതി ലഭിച്ചാല്‍ നടപടി എടുക്കുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ചാണ്ടിയും ആഭ്യന്തരമന്ത്രി തിരുവഞ്ചൂര്‍ രാധാകൃഷ്ണനും അറിയിച്ചു. രാഷ്ട്രപതിയുടെ പേരിലുള്ള പ്രസിഡന്റ്സ് ട്രോഫി ജലമേളയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനവേദിയിലാണ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് എംപിയില്‍നിന്ന് ചലച്ചിത്രനടിക്ക് അപമാനം നേരിട്ടത്. ഇതേപ്പറ്റി രാഷ്ട്രപതിക്കും പരാതി പോയിട്ടുണ്ട്്. കേസ് എടുക്കാതെ എംപിയെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്ന നടപടി പൊലീസിന് പുലിവാലാകുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാണ്. രാഷ്ട്രപതിഭവനില്‍നിന്ന് സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഗവര്‍ണറോട് വിശദീകരണം ചോദിച്ചേക്കുമെന്നാണ് സൂചന. ശ്വേതയെ എംപി അപമാനിക്കുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ ടിവി ചാനലുകള്‍ പുറത്തുവിട്ടു. തന്നെ അപമാനിച്ചത് ജനപ്രതിനിധിയാണെന്നത് ചാനല്‍ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളില്‍ വ്യക്തമാണെന്ന് ശ്വേത മേനോന്‍ കൈരളി പീപ്പിളിനോട് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. കേസ് എടുത്താല്‍ സത്യം ബോധിപ്പിക്കും.
 
ആരോപണം പീതാംബരക്കുറുപ്പ് നിഷേധിച്ചു. ശ്വേതയെ അപമാനിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചത് താനല്ല, മറ്റുചിലരാണെന്നും അത് തെളിയിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. സത്യം പുറത്തുവരണമെന്ന് സിപിഐ എം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍ മാധ്യമങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞു. പീതാംബരക്കുറുപ്പിനെതിരെ കേസെടുക്കണമെന്ന് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് വി എസ് അച്യുതാനന്ദന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. സംഭവം ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമാണെന്ന് സിനിമാ താരങ്ങളുടെ സംഘടനയായ "അമ്മ"യുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഇന്നസെന്റ് പ്രതികരിച്ചു. സംഭവത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് കലക്ടറോട് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വിശദീകരണം തേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പൊലീസ് ഇന്റലിജന്‍സും വിവരം ശേഖരിച്ചു. സ്വമേധയാ കേസ് എടുക്കുമെന്ന് വനിതാ കമീഷന്‍ അംഗം ലിസി ജോസ് അറിയിച്ചെങ്കിലും പരാതി കിട്ടിയാല്‍ മാത്രം നടപടിയെന്നാണ് ചെയര്‍ പേഴ്സണ്‍ റോസക്കുട്ടിയുടെ നിലപാട്.
 
ചാനല്‍ വാര്‍ത്തകളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിമാത്രം കേസ് എടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്നാണ് പൊലീസ് ഉന്നത വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിച്ചത്. വളരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചേ പൊലീസിന് നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കാനാകൂവെന്നാണ് ഡിജിപി പറഞ്ഞത്. എന്നാല്‍, അപമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടതായി സ്ത്രീ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ സ്വമേധയാ കേസ് എടുക്കണമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രനിയമം അനുശാസിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐ നല്‍കിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ശ്വേത മേനോനില്‍നിന്ന് മൊഴിയെടുക്കാന്‍ പൊലീസ് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. കൊല്ലം ഈസ്റ്റ് സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍നിന്ന് വനിതാ പൊലീസുകാരുടെ പ്രത്യേക സംഘത്തെ ഇതിനായി നിയോഗിച്ചു. ഡിവൈഎഫ്ഐ സംസ്ഥാന ജോയിന്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി അഡ്വ. ജി മുരളീധരന്‍, സംസ്ഥാന കമ്മിറ്റിഅംഗം ആര്‍ ബിജു, ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി വി പി പ്രശാന്ത്, സെക്രട്ടറിയറ്റ് അംഗം ആര്‍ രാജേഷ് എന്നിവരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് പരാതി നല്‍കിയത്.
 
പരാതിയില്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുന്നു 
കൊച്ചി: കൊല്ലത്തു നടന്ന പ്രസിഡന്റ്സ് ട്രോഫി വള്ളംകളി മത്സരത്തിന് തന്നെ ക്ഷണിച്ചുവരുത്തി അപമാനിച്ചുവെന്നും തന്നോട്് മോശമായി പെരുമാറിയെന്നുമുള്ള നിലപാടില്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുകയാണെന്ന് നടി ശ്വേത മേനോന്‍. കൊച്ചിയില്‍ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരോടു സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അവര്‍. സ്ത്രീയെന്ന നിലയില്‍ ശരിക്കും അപമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ അവിടെ എത്തിയതുമുതല്‍ തിരികെ കാറില്‍ കയറുന്നതുവരെ ഈ വ്യക്തി ഒപ്പം നടന്ന് ശല്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. സ്റ്റേജില്‍വച്ചും ഇതുതന്നെയായിരുന്നു അവസ്ഥ. ഇത് മനസ്സിലാക്കി താന്‍ പലപ്പോഴും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുമാറിയിട്ടും അദ്ദേഹം പിന്മാറിയില്ല. സംഭവം കൊല്ലം കലക്ടറുമായി സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്്. അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തിപരമായി തന്നോടു ക്ഷമ പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല്‍, മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ സംഭവം വാര്‍ത്തയാക്കിയപ്പോഴാണ് കലക്ടര്‍ നിലപാട് മാറ്റിയത്. ഇത് കൂടുതല്‍ വേദനിപ്പിച്ചു.
 
ഉയര്‍ന്ന സ്ഥാനത്ത് നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ആള്‍ അത്തരത്തില്‍ ചെയ്തത് സത്രീയെന്ന നിലയില്‍ വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായി. തന്നോട് മോശമായി പെരുമാറിയത്് പരാതിയായി എഴുതിനല്‍കിയില്ലെന്നത് സത്യമാണ്. ഇത്രയും വലിയ പരിപാടി നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അതിന്റെ ആവേശം തല്ലിക്കെടുത്താന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തതിനാലാണ് അവിടെവച്ച് പ്രതികരിക്കാതിരുന്നത്. താരസംഘടനയായ "അമ്മ"യുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഇന്നസെന്റുമായി സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സംഘടനയുടെ പൂര്‍ണ പിന്തുണ തനിക്കുണ്ട്. അവരുമായി സംസാരിച്ച് തുടര്‍നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും ശ്വേത വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
