you may be right, BUT
1. Media also said he is visiting each and every house in Uttarakhand.
2. Media also mentioned he is visiting Ayodhya.
3. During Gujarat elections media was agog with such ludicrous lies, that I was amused, to site: In a year he changed dresses for 970 times.
One can easily make out how the puppet media is paid for, by other parties. this is true world over.
News has to be taken with pinch of salt
 
4. When King of Saudi-Arabia visited our country few years back, he refused to
visit the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi.
 
There was no hue and cry by anyone in our self respected country. I respect his believes but same time try to respect others.

On the evening of Friday, June 21, as India reeled from the shock of the calamity in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi landed up in Dehradun with a handful of officers. By Sunday, it was claimed that he had rescued 15,000 stranded Gujaratis from the wreckage of Uttarakhand and sent these grateful folks back home.

This miracle was played up in media. But how was this feat achieved in a day or so, when India's entire military establishment has struggled to rescue around 40,000 people over 10 days?

Reports say that Modi pulled off this coup with a fleet of 80 Innovas. How did these cars manage to reach places like Kedarnath, across roads that have been washed away, over landslides that have wrecked most access routes?

But let us assume Modi's Innovas had wings as well as helicopter rotors. Including the driver, an Innova is designed to carry seven people. In a tough situation, assume you could pack nine passengers into each car. In that case, a convoy of 80 Innovas could ferry 720 people down the mountains to Dehradun at one go. To get 15,000 people down, the convoy would need to make 21 round trips.

The distance between Dehradun and Kedarnath is 221 km. So 21 trips up and down would mean that each Innova would have to travel nearly 9,300 km.

It takes longer to travel in the hills than in the plains. So, assuming an average speed of 40 km per hour, it would take 233 hours of driving to pull off the feat.
This assumes non-stop driving, without a second's rest to identify the Gujaratis to be rescued and keeping the rest of the distressed folk at bay, or any time to load and unload the vehicles. And forget about any downtime for the gallant rescuers.

That is nearly 10 days of miraculous work. And Modi pulled it off in a day.

Actually, in less than a day: a breathless media reported that by Saturday, 25 luxury buses had brought a group of Gujaratis back to Delhi. For some reason, four Boeing aircraft also idled in some undisclosed place nearby.

Modi, ever modest, himself did not make the claim of rescuing 15,000 Gujaratis from Himalayan disaster in a day. It was likely dumped on a gullible media by his public relations agency, an American outfit called Apco Worldwide. In 2007, Apco was hired, ostensibly to boost the Vibrant Gujarat
summits, but to actually burnish Modi's image, for $25,000 a month.
He is in good company. Apco has worked for the dictator of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbaev, the governments of Malaysia and Israel and the American tobacco lobby.

For the latter, it set up front organisations to rubbish evidence which proved that tobacco causes cancer. Apco has also worked for pariah regimes like Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and Nigerian strongman Sani Abacha.

Its powerful advisory council includes former Israeli diplomats Itamar Rabinovich and Shimon Stein, as well as Doron Bergerbest-Eilon, who was the highest ranked officer in the Israel security agency.

Apco is credited with Modi's makeover and his holographic campaigns. Before Apco, Vibrant Gujarat was a tame affair: the first three summits generated investment promises between $14 billion and $150 billion. After Apco, in 2009 and 2011, these jumped to $253 billion and $450 billion.

Apco worked tirelessly to rope in investor interest from America. It also lobbied with politicians in Washington to remove the ban on Modi travelling to the US. The ban was imposed after the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat as Modi presided over the state in 2002. So far, Apco hasn't succeeded in getting Modi a US visa.

And the Vibrant Gujarat numbers are all hot air. An analysis by my colleague Kingshuk Nag in his biography of Modi shows that only 3.2% of the 2009 number has materialised on the ground. Of the 2011 figure, a mere 0.5% is for real.

But Modi does not need Apco to lie. In 2005 he announced that state-owned company GSPC had made India's biggest gas discovery: 20 trillion cubic feet (tcf) valued at more than $50 billion, off Andhra Pradesh. This was 40% more than what Reliance had found in the same area. Modi then egged on GSPC to grab projects in Egypt, Yemen and Australia.

Many suspected that Modi's gas claim was hot air, but in the absence of evidence few could say so. But by 2012, the Centre's directorate general of hydrocarbons (DGH), which analyses and certifies all energy finds, said that it could vouch for only a tenth of Modi's claim: there was only 2 tcf of gas. And that too in areas tough to exploit.

Meanwhile, under Modi's rousing leadership, GSPC had poured in nearly $2 billion into exploration, much of it raised as debt based on its supposed 20 tcf gas find. When the gas vanished, GSPC went bust.

To rescue it, Modi asked the company to venture out into more areas, like city gas distribution. There have been problems with these businesses as well, including a very dubious transaction with a company in Barbados.

In every area the Modi narrative is a tale of bluster and bluff. But his Himalayan miracle is a barefaced, cynical lie.

To all,
This are all acts of hypocrites, they will go to any extend to reach there hot seat. We like fools see them as committed leaders. Unknowingly he dug his own grave by saving only the Gujaraties  when he is aiming for the Center India should be in mind not Gujarat. Any way his own people will shatter his dreams

Peak Hour Timer
Electrical appliances like refrigerators and air-conditioners consume heavy current if the line voltage drops during the peak hours between 6 pm and 9 pm. If there is no low-voltage cut-off in these appliances, it will cause wastage of current and heating of the appliances. Over-heating may, in turn, reduce the efficiency of the compressors of these appliances.

This circuit proves useful here in that it automatically turns an appliance off during the peak hours. After three hours, the appliance will turn on again.

An LDR-based switch is used for automatic switching off of power to the circuit. During daytime, LDR1 offers low resistance, so transistor T1 forward biases to pull its collector voltage to the ground and inhibit T2 from forward biasing. In this state, the remaining circuit is switched off and power to the appliance is obtained from the normally-closed (N/C) contacts of relay RL1.

When the daylight reduces around 6 pm, LDR1 offers increased resistance and transistor T1 is cut off. Then transistor T2 provides power to the circuit. Using preset VR1, you can adjust the sensitivity of LDR1 for the desired light level.

The timer circuit is designed using the 14-stage ripple counter CD4060 (IC1) to give 3-hour timing by taking pin 1 (Q11) as the output. When IC1 gets power from transistor T2, it resets through C1 and R3 and starts oscillating. Reservoir capacitor C2 maintains the voltage to IC1 stable so that the oscillation is not affected by slight variations in the power supply. Resistor R4 along with capacitor C3 maintains the oscillation of IC1, as indicated by the blinking of LED1 connected to its output pin 7 (Q3).

The timeout period of the timer can be calculated using the relationship:
T = 2n/fosc in seconds
where 'n' is the selected output number and fosc = 1/2.3(R4.C3)

Resistor R4 is connected to pin 10 and capacitor C3 is connected to pin 9 of IC1. When Q11 output becomes high, diode D1 inhibits further oscillation of IC1. Q11 output remains high until IC1 resets in the morning.

IC2 is a bistable latch using timer NE555. Its trigger input pin 2 and threshold input pin 6 are tied together so that at power-on, the output of IC2 goes high and latches since its trigger and threshold inputs are floating. Relay driver transistor T3 conducts to energise relay RL1 and the appliance, say, refrigerator, is disconnected from mains. This condition persists for three hours during the peak hours.

After the timeout period of IC1, its Q11 pin goes high to send a positive pulse to the threshold input of IC2 through resistor R7. This high-going pulse resets IC2 and its output becomes low. Transistor T3 cuts off and relay RL1 de-energises to turn the appliance 'on' through N/C contacts of relay RL1. Capacitor C4 maintains the base current of transistor T3 for clean switching and avoiding chattering of the relay. Freewheeling diode D2 removes back emf of the relay.

Assemble the circuit on any general-purpose PCB and enclose in a suitable cabinet. Relay contacts should have a current rating that is sufficient to handle the load. Use wires of proper guage for connecting the relay contacts to AC mains wire. Earth properly and use a three-pin socket to take AC from the unit. Fix the unit at a place where sufficient daylight illuminates the LDR.

You comments definitely gives a wrong signal Mr. Abraham. It is NOT the question of saving Mullah, Priest 0r Pujari or whether they deserve any help from any body. The question is, in the time of crisis like this the Governments of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Chathisgarh have well arranged all sorts of help including airlifting the stranded promptly to help the people of their States. Why should these State Government ignore their people in the name of humanity & help others. Atlast even these sanyasis or pujaris were helped by the local MP of Jharkhand in the name of humanity and definitely NOT the Government of Kerala. So please do not be carried away by the  misconception that Mullahs, Priests & Pujaris do not deserve to get any help or their life do not carry any value in the society and they are bound to die. 

I just cannot agree to Mr. Abraham's arguments.
