I have already raised the issue as to who is this Ranjini? a mere show girl. Who gave her the rights to jump the queue?  I have decided that I will never see a programme anchored by such a girl, who does not have respect for others. Join together and  boycott her to teach her a lesson for her arrogance

സിസിടിവി എന്നൊരു സാധനം ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ് ബിനോയ്‌ ചെറിയാന്‍ എന്ന പ്രവാസി മലയാളി ഈ കേസില്‍ മാത്രം ഒതുക്കപ്പെട്ടത്‌ എന്ന് ഒരു പ്രമുഖ ന്യൂസ് വെബ്‌സൈറ്റില്‍ ഒരു വായനക്കാരന്റെ കമന്റ് കണ്ടു. സിസിടിവി ഇല്ലായെങ്കില്‍ എന്തൊക്കെ കേസുകള്‍ ഈ പാവത്തിനെതിരെ പോലിസ്‌ കെട്ടി വെച്ചിരുന്നു. അതും ഒരു സൂപ്പര്‍ താരം ഫോണ്‍ ചെയ്തു പറഞ്ഞതോട് കൂടി ഒരു ഇരയെ കിട്ടിയ ഭാവേന ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ കേസില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്താന്‍ മത്സരിക്കുകയാണ് അവര്‍ ചെയ്തത്. എന്നാല്‍ സിസിടിവി രക്ഷകനായി എന്ന് തന്നെ പറയാം. രണ്ജിനിയും കേസില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടു. പ്രിയ ബിനോയ്‌, നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവാസികളുണ്ട്. ഈ രാജ്യത്ത് നിയമം ഏതു പാവപ്പെട്ടവനും പാവപ്പെട്ടവന്റെ തലയില്‍ കയറി ആളാവുന്നവനും ഒരു പോലെ ആണെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈ ഒരേ ഒരു പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയിലൂടെ മലയാളികള്‍ക്ക് കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇവിടെ പലരും സ്ത്രീ സുരക്ഷ, സ്ത്രീ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം എന്നൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു മുദ്രാവാക്യം വിളിക്കാറുണ്ട്. സ്‌ത്രീ സുരക്ഷ അത്യന്താപേക്ഷിതമാണെന്നത് സംശയരഹിതമായ കാര്യവുമാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ സമൂഹത്തിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങി പുരുഷന്മാരോട് അഹങ്കാരം കാണിക്കുന്ന സ്‌ത്രീകളെ എങ്ങനെയാണ് കാണുക. സ്‌ത്രീകളെ അനാവശ്യമായി നോക്കിയാല്‍ പോലും പീഢനമാകുന്ന ഈ കാലത്ത് ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള സ്‌ത്രീകള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന പുരുഷ പീഡനങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ എന്ത് സംരക്ഷണമാണ് ലഭിക്കുക. അതും കുടുംബ സമേതം നാട്ടിലേക്ക് വരുന്ന ഒരു പ്രവാസി മലയാളിയോടാണെങ്കില്‍ ? പ്രിയ ബിനോയ്‌, നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവാസികളുടെ അഭിമാനമാണ്. സ്ത്രീക്കും പുരുഷനും ഈ സുരക്ഷ എന്ന സാധനം വേണമെന്ന സത്യം നിങ്ങള്‍ ലോകത്തിനു കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇവിടെ പറഞ്ഞു വരുന്നത് ചില 'മലയാലം' പറയുന്ന ചില മലയാളി സ്ത്രീകളെ പറ്റി തന്നെയാണ്. മുന്‍പ്‌ ഇതുപോലൊരു സ്ത്രീ ബുള്ളറ്റില്‍ കറങ്ങി നടന്നു പുരുഷന്മാരെ മേല്‍ കൈവച്ച കഥ നാം കേട്ടതാണ്. അന്ന് ആ സ്ത്രീയെ സപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തു മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ തട്ടിവിട്ടു. അവരുടെ ഇന്റര്‍വ്യൂ പോരെ പൂരം. അവസാനം ഈ സ്ത്രീയുടെ കത്തികള്‍ കള്ളമാണെന്ന് തെളിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ ദേ വരുന്നു, മറ്റൊരു സെലിബ്രിറ്റി. അന്ന് ഹോട്ടലിനു മുന്‍പില്‍ വെച്ച് അടി വാങ്ങിയ പോലെ ആവില്ല മക്കളെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവാസികള്‍ . ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഇവിടെ ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടാണ്. ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഫേസ്ബുക്കില്‍ ഒന്ന് ഷെയറും ലൈക്കും അടിച്ചാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ സൊ കാള്‍ഡ് ഇമേജ് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ, അതങ്ങു ചീട്ടു കൊട്ടാരം പോലെ തകരും. പ്രിയ ബിനോയ്‌, നിങ്ങളാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ താരം.

അവസാനമായി ബിനോയ്‌ തന്നെ സംഭവത്തെ കുറിച്ച് പറയുന്ന വാക്കുകള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുക. അത് വായിച്ചാല്‍ ശ്രീ. ബിനോയ്‌ ചെറിയാനോടുള്ള ആരാധന പ്രവാസികള്‍ക്ക്‌ ഒന്നൂടെ കൂടും.

Retired Barber Gives Homeless People Haircuts in Exchange for Hugs

Although some of us refuse to believe it, we live in a mean, cutthroat world. Luckily there are still some genuine good Samaritans out there, and Anthony Cymerys is definitely one of them. For the last 25 years, the man known as Joe the Barber has been offering homeless people in Hartford, Connecticut haircuts in exchange for hugs.

 

 

 

Anthony Cymerys started offering his barber services to those less fortunate in 1988, after hearing a sermon about the homeless. He had just retired and was only cutting hair for family, but those inspiring words he had heard in church made him decided he didn't want the homeless looking like homeless anymore. So he prepared his tools, put them in the car and started driving around town looking for people in need of his services. In the beginning, he helped people in shelters and convalescent homes, then he cut hair in downtown YMCA for years, before moving to the carousel near Bushnell Park. Every Wednesday, the wooden benches on the Elm Street side of the park are packed with homeless people waiting for a relaxing haircut, shave and facial massage from the 82-year-old Joe.
