Dear All,

Regarding the mutual funds and also the insurance policy linked to units it is true that there is a lot of false marketing going on. Many a times even the managers of the bank who sell these policies either out of ignorance or to cheat some customers tell that you need to pay only for three years or five and then the policy will grow at the rates of 20%etc. But all these are false promises. First of all in such scheme all of you should understand that the money you invested is NOT the money you pay, it is actually the money you pay minus all the charges. Typically only 60%of the money you pay is reallistically deposited. Then evry year there is prohibitive charges in the name of policy maintaince chrege, fund administrative charge etc.. etc... Hence you should except to pay minimum of 6-7 years when the fund value will be equal to you invested value. And in todays scenario when the market is so low you may NOT get even the value invested after 10 years. Hence you sre ADVISED NOT TO INVEST IN ANY MUTUAL FUND OR UNIT LINKED INSURANCE UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THESE VERY WELL .The bank interest is now very attractive for NRE deposit so make use of it and deposit for long years .it will be definitely better. Dear Mr.Rassana

You are completely wrong and I think ignorant about mutual fund & ULIP investment markets. All equity based mutual funds are investing/trading in share market and is subject market risk. Probelm now market is down so the unit value is going down.

Also for Mutual funds IRDA have no role and need to go to SEBI if any complaint and in case of insurance companies can go to IRDA. Also there is no relation with the banks in this case.

But from the first mail, came to know that is ULIP and can very well know about the scheme if the policy document and prospects read.

all the banks rules are as like as the same. they must give their rules and regulations.

if you pay remaining full amount [ you must pay the remaing balance amount ]to relience and may get back full amount.

try with your concern agent also.

in my case also the same with icici bank. i paid two instalment 50000+50000= 100000 one lake

i cannot pay the third instalment . now they forced  me to pay the third instalment to get full up to date amount, otherwise they pay me back only the balance amount with deduction of their rules.

what can i do? i said ok then you pay me the balance as per your rules and regulations .

but stll they didnot pay yet. first this is our mistake. all the banks and bank agent s are theifs.

first they said some thing, afetr that they completely return to side of the bank.

if we put our deposite in normal sanvings bank account, instead of this type of investment with relienc or like icici bank we can get ful amount with up to date interest.

totally we are mislead by the bank staffs and  agent. this should be erased from the banking law

this must taken to the irda with a group of people who they are affected like this.

how we can do it?. please consult with the lawyer.

Dear Friends,

I am a member of Reliance mutual fund under the scheme equity automatic investment plan since 2008. my deposit is 1 lakh . It is a 3 year plan but I invested only once in this plan(18-02-2008) and cound not continue in the next years(18-02-2009,18-02-2010)

Now as per the online report my status is ULIP - auto lapsed and my fund value is only 67,587/- after 3 years. and when I contacted the reliance office could knew that only I will get the money as per the statement after deducted perticular % of fees ( around Rs 3000)

My agent was mis undestood me from the begining that my investment will be secure always because it is under IRDA. Please help some body to know what amount I can claim in this regards and what are the procedures.

എന്റെ പള്ളീ, ദുബായില്‍ ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ഷോയുടെ തലേദിവസം റിഹേഴ്‌സലിനിടയ്ക്കാണ് പരിപാടിക്ക് ഷാരൂഖ്ഖാന്‍ വരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നറിഞ്ഞത്. അപ്പോഴേ ഹൃദയം പടപടാ മിടിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി. കൊച്ചിലേമുതല്‍ ഞാന്‍ പുള്ളിയുടെ കട്ടഫാനാണല്ലോ. ഇത്രയധികം ആരാധന മറ്റൊരു സിനിമാതാരത്തോടും തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. എന്റെ ഷാരൂഖ്‌പ്രേമം വീട്ടുകാര്‍ക്കും ഭര്‍ത്താവിനുമൊക്കെ ശരിക്കുമറിയാം. പണ്ട് പൊള്ളാച്ചിയില്‍ 'ബില്ലു ബാര്‍ബറി'ന്റെ ഷൂട്ടിങ്ങിന് ഷാരൂഖ് വരുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് കേട്ടപ്പോള്‍ അവിടെച്ചെന്നു കാണാമെന്ന് ഹസ്ബന്‍ഡ് റോയ്‌സ് പറഞ്ഞതാണ്. പക്ഷേ, എന്തോ ചില കാരണങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ട് പോകാനൊത്തില്ല. ഫിലിം അവാര്‍ഡ് ചടങ്ങില്‍ പുള്ളിയെ അടുത്തുനിന്ന് കാണാനായി. ഞാനും റോയ്‌സും ആദ്യനിരയില്‍ തന്നെ സീറ്റ് പിടിച്ചു. ഷാരൂഖ്ഖാന്‍ വരാന്‍ നേരംവൈകിയാല്‍ ഫില്ലറായി ബെന്നി ദയാലിനൊപ്പം ഒരു പാട്ട് പാടണമെന്ന് അവതാരക രഞ്ജിനി ഹരിദാസ് എന്നോട് അപ്പോഴാണ് പറയുന്നത്. ഷാരൂഖ് വരുമ്പോഴാണോ പാട്ടെന്നു ചോദിച്ച് ഞാന്‍ രഞ്ജിനിയോട് പിണങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.

പക്ഷേ, എന്റെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് ഷാരൂഖ്ഖാന്‍ കൃത്യസമയത്തുതന്നെ വന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് റിമ കല്ലിങ്ങലിനൊപ്പമുള്ള 'ചമക്ക് ചല്ലോ' നൃത്തമായിരുന്നു. അതുകഴിഞ്ഞയുടന്‍ ബോളിവുഡ് നായികമാരായ വിദ്യാബാലന്‍, അസിന്‍ എന്നിവരെ രഞ്ജിനി ഹരിദാസ് വേദിയിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിച്ചു. പിന്നാലെ കാവ്യാമാധവന്‍, സംവൃത സുനില്‍, ഭാവന, റിമ, മൈഥിലി, അനന്യ, കാതല്‍ സന്ധ്യ, അര്‍ച്ചന കവി എന്നിവരും സ്റ്റേജിലെത്തി. എന്നെക്കൂടി വിളിച്ചില്ലെങ്കില്‍ അലമ്പാകുമെന്നുകരുതിയാകും എനിക്കും ക്ഷണം കിട്ടി. രണ്ടുവരി പാടിക്കോട്ടെയെന്ന് രഞ്ജിനിയോടു ഞാന്‍ പതുക്കെ ചോദിച്ചു. ഷോയുടെ സ്‌ക്രിപ്റ്റിലില്ലാത്ത പാട്ടൊന്നും പറ്റില്ലെന്നായിരുന്നു രഞ്ജിനിയുടെ മറുപടി. അപ്പോഴേക്കും എല്ലാവരെയും അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ഷാരൂഖ് വേദിയില്‍ നിന്ന് നീങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. രണ്ടും കല്പിച്ച് മൈക്ക് പിടിച്ചുവാങ്ങി ഞാനൊരു ഡയലോഗ് കാച്ചി; ''ഷാരൂഖ് ജി, ഐ ലവ് യൂ.....'' നമ്മുടെ സ്ലിംബ്യൂട്ടി നടിമാര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ എന്നെപ്പോലൊരു തടിച്ചിയെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഞെട്ടിയത് ഷാരൂഖ്ഖാനാണ്. ''മലയാളത്തില്‍ ഇത്രയും തടിയുള്ള നായികയുണ്ടോ എന്നുകരുതി താങ്കള്‍ പേടിക്കേണ്ട, ഞാന്‍ നടിയല്ല ചെറിയൊരു ഗായികയാണ്''- അറിയാവുന്ന ഹിന്ദിയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞൊപ്പിച്ചു. അറിയാതെ പാടിത്തുടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു ''അബ് തോ മേരാ ദില്‍.....'' പാട്ടു തുടങ്ങിയ ഉടന്‍ കോട്ടൂരി നിലത്തുവെച്ച് എന്റെ മുന്നില്‍ മുട്ടുകുത്തിനില്‍ക്കുകയാണ് ഷാരൂഖ്ജി ചെയ്തത്. അടുത്ത വരി തുടങ്ങുമ്പോഴേക്കും രണ്ടുകൈകള്‍ കൊണ്ടും എന്നെ എടുത്തുയര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

i am also in this trap...but i am trying to completing these installments or big loss of money, at least, i will get back my paid amount but not sure...

Rassana is correct i.e. if we put the money FD or savings a/c we can take back the money any time with current interest.

Bank and agent's are cheating the people with showing the benefits++++++++, but they never mention the risk factor or issues to the victim, also the rules they have stated in their policy document and prospects very very small font no one can read and normal people will look at the agent words...as they are getting big commission from the back thru our money/each installment...

From the first installment bank deducting their profit, (20 to 30% of yearly fund value) also deducting the units (certain value) every month for their administration/ mortality charges... the main benefit and profit only for bank, thru investing any fund thru bank, as per their advertisement their life we make secure and safe...they will enjoy.... if the market is down, the investor fully lost his money and bank have no lose, no any surety /security of this investment thru bank...

if u know the share business do it directly thru online and this bank charges also we can buy the units...i wish to advice all my friends do this share business directly...no any hidden charges / payments...
