Vitamin F

This says it all!

Why do I have a variety of friends who are all different in character ?

Some of them can be considered marginal even ?

How do I get on with them all ?

I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me.

With one of them I am a polite, good person.

I joke with another friend.

I sit down and talk about serious matters with one of them.

With another I giggle at every silly thing.

I have my tea with one

And dance with another.

I listen to one friend's problems and give her advice

Then I listen to another advising me.

They are all like pieces of a jigsaw,

When completed they form a treasure box.

A treasure of friends!

They are my friends who understand me better than myself,

who support me through good days and bad days.

They are like colourful anti-depressants that I take on different days.

Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health.

Oh lord, these brain cells you gave me!
They developed and vanished, but I now have to live with my ever growing
fat cells.

Fat me. I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose
fitting clothing. Damn you If I HAD any loose fitting clothing why would I
sign up for weight loss class!

Mess up like me, I wish our life had three buttons, "CONTROL, ALT AND
DELETE" like PC, press together, forget all past and start all over again?

Monitor lizard caught

 

A monitor lizard was caught from Kechery on Monday. Wild animals' protector Xavier Elthuruth caught the giant lizard from the house of VS Unni. Xavier reached there after he was informed about the lizard.

Xavier says, "The monitor lizard is of 1.5-metre long. It is calm and not poisonous. But it attacks with the tail and nails. The injuries due to its nails can cause rabies. Its tongue is similar to that of snakes in two layers. Its skin is thick and it can travel during day only. The lizard eats all kinds of food, including small birds. The lizard will be handed over to Ponganamkadu forest range deputy officer TC Devassy."

In India, monitor lizards are found mainly in Orissa, West Bengal and Andaman Nicobar Islands.
