• A new bullet train claims to travel up to 6400km/h could be possible by 2040
• It could transport passengers from Canberra to Melbourne in only 10 minutes 
• Creators claim they will be testing the super speeds in the next 10 years
• It is also touted to be the safest form of transport  - even safer than bicycles

The ambitious super-shuttle concept will use roller coaster-type technology to catapult car-sized capsules through airless concrete tubes at five times the speed of sound - and it would only cost $167 for a ticket.

• Becker amassed a fortune of tens of millions of pounds after first winning Wimbledon aged 17
• But fifth highest on-court earner in tennis history was yesterday declared bankrupt 
• It seems a series of relationship break-ups and poor investments are to blame
• Becker may now have to take a break from commentating on Wimbledon to attend meeting at Insolvency Service

Divorce from his American wife Barbara soon followed, costing him up to £11million in cash, plus the main marital home in Miami and £2million in legal fees. Further support for their children, Noah, 23, and Elias, 17, has cost him yet more.

Becker has burned cash from his reputed total career earnings of as much as £100million in other ways too. His sprawling Majorcan villa, built in the 1990s in a Moroccan and Turkish style. It was the scene for numerous lavish parties.

Five years ago, however, a Spanish court made an order for the villa to be auctioned off with a starting price of £6.8million, to pay an outstanding debt of £225,000 to a landscape gardener.

At the same time he was ordered to pay £345,000 to a Spanish building firm which complained he had not settled for various work, and faced an £80,000 Spanish tax bill.

In Germany in 2012 he was ordered to pay almost £800,000 to a former business partner after an online organic foods firm flopped. 

During the half-hour hearing about the loan of £3,090,000 Becker had taken out two years ago, the registrar said of Becker: 'One has the impression of a man rather burying his head in the sand.'
