[www.keralites.net] 12 Things You Would Relate To If You Can’t Decide What To Eat Ever!

12 Things You Would Relate To If You Can't Decide What To Eat Ever!

Life is difficult for people who can't decide what to eat. Poor guys, struggling to make the most important decision – What to eat? Because, what if the dish they order looks pale in front of what's being ordered on the next table? What if that wrap isn't as fancy as it looks in the menu? What if...god forbids...it tastes like poison?

For picky eaters, the struggle is real. Here's a real life scenarios that every person who can't decide what to eat would relate to...

1. You love hotel menus so much that you don't look at them, you study them

Like it's the entire syllabus, and you've got to pick up your favourite topics.

2. You ask people for suggestions, they suggest, but you still eat what you want

One of the reasons why your friends hate going out with you. You go to a restaurant, the one your friend recommended. But when its time to order you're not quite convinced. Happens all the time? Well...

3. You want this. You want that. You want everything

Damn those momos look great. But what about those honey-glazed chicken wings? And those beer battered shrimps? How about ordering it all?

4. You order everything, only to realise you and your crew can't finish them

"Take this, finish it, please." *Forcibly serves starters*

5. You're used to getting looks from the waiters

"Oh man, make up your mind already #$%%%" - Every waiter in his mind, while he is patiently waiting for you to order.

6. You're Never satisfied

No matter how good the food is, you keep thinking about what you've missed ordering. Nothing satisfies you. I repeat NOTHING.

7. You go through reviews before going to a new place

You do full research on what's good to eat at what place. You would go through each and every picture posted by the reviewers.

8. You avoid going out for dinner dates

That's because you know that the person would leave you half way because you couldn't decide between Chinese or Continental.

9. You let others order for you, but again, you're too hard to please

"Take! You only order" – You to your friend while giving him/her the menu. "Yaar, yeh kya mangwaaya?" – you after the food arrives.

10. You love eating alone

That way, nobody gets to judge you. You – 1, Others – 0

11. You're a pain in queues

You take your sweet time to decide, while the people behind you shout – 'Today sir, today!'

12. You end up ordering the same thing. AGAIN!

Even though you took 20 minutes to study the menu, you ordered a Pizza. Again. Because, it's your favourite and you realised that only after 20 minutes.

[www.keralites.net] National Geographic Afghan Girl Arrested In Pakistan!

National Geographic's 'Afghan Girl' Arrested In Pakistan!

The girl with the most beautiful eyes in the world was arrested in Pakistan on Wednesday on charges of obtaining fraudulent national identification cards.

Sharbat Gula captured the hearts of millions with her piercing blue eyes, but the iconic refugee who once helped to raise awareness of the war in Afghanistan has been detained by Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after suspicions that she has been involved with an identity fraud ring for over a year now. The star of National Geographic was arrested in Peshwar, near the Afghan border.

Mass arrests were made after Pakistani police started cracking down on Afghans with illegal national identity cards. The FIA is also after two security officials, who are believed to have helped Ms. Gula and her two sons obtain ID cards.

The portrait of National Geographic's "Afghan Girl" was taken in 1984 in a refugee camp in north-west Pakistan and became one of the most printed portraits in the world.

After hearing of her arrest, Steve McCurry, who captured the shot, immediately posted the notorious image on Instagram and wrote: "Two hours ago, I got word from a friend in Peshawar, Pakistan, that Sharbat Gula has been arrested."

"I am committed to doing anything and everything possible to provide legal and financial support for her and her family."

"I object to this action by the authorities in the strongest possible terms. She has suffered throughout her entire life, and her arrest is an egregious violation of her human rights."

Committed to her cause, the photographer has never forgotten about her and even traced Ms. Gula once again back in 2002, when he asked her to sit for him for a second time.

The arrest has raised further awareness of the suffering and torment of Afghan refugees in Pakistan and across the globe.

[www.keralites.net] BITTER TRUTH OF LIFE

 GOOD NIGHT FRIENDS <3
BITTER TRUTHS OF LIFE
10 Hard Facts (Bitter Truths) of life which we just can't avoid and realize them gradually in our life
Life is like a roller coaster and very occasionally we are subjected to ups and down in life coupled with pains and suffering as well as joy and happiness. However, we keep on learning lessons from successes and failures that we come across. As we age, we also learn some bitter truths about life. I am recapitulating 10 such hard facts of life or the bitter truths which, I feel, we face them in life.
1. No one's life can be smooth. It is full of challenges and conflicts and very often we face despair, sorrow and suffering due to our deep entrapment in desires/fear duality.
2. We come in this world with a genetically pre-determined psychosomatic body and then we have to live with it for the remaining period of life.
3. Most of the time, things just don't happen as we plan or foresee. Most certain thing about life is the uncertainty. Many a times, even small and insignificant events can have vast and devastating effects on our life.
4. There are always a very few friends, not more the magic number of 10, who can be trusted and will stand by you during the troubled times. Bigger the friend's circle, lesser are the 'true' and reliable friends.
5. Most of the decisions we take come from the subconscious part of our mind and for which we no control whatsoever over them. Even when we take conscious and well thought of decisions, in those cases conditioning of mind as well as thoughts, feelings, emotions and perceptions hidden in subconscious mind play a significant role in determining our decision making as well as the behavior pattern. Therefore, the 'free will' for which we are so confident has a very limited role in shaping our destiny.
6. Human nature is fundamentally very fragile and venerable because of undercurrent fear and anxiety (mostly unreal and unfounded) we all encounter most of the time in our life.
7. The material things like money, status, power have a very limited role in our day to day happiness. The large part of our temperament is genetically predetermined; it has been scientifically proved that about 50 percent of our happiness or unhappiness level is genetically determined. Other 40 percent depends on our conditioned thoughts and actions on which we hardly have any control. The remaining 10 percent is related to our life circumstances, such as where we live, how much money we have, our marital status, and how we look.
8. The most destructive habit in us is allowing our mind to wander and indulge in negative thoughts and emotions. This is the root cause of our stress related illnesses (which accounts 90% of all illnesses we mostly suffer).
9. There are no personal Gods. It's only a blind faith and belief that prompts us to believe in the existence of personal God. However, we need such Gods mostly for meeting our emotional and psychological requirements and to explain the unexplainable events pertaining to us and that's why most of us overuse such Gods with supposedly no outcome .
10. We daily see our fellow beings dying around us but still we think, act and behave as if we are never going to die. We continue to live in this great mystery of life.
Thanks For Reading This
My Best Wishes
