Enjoy Everything You Do!

Most of our time goes into pleasing others and making them happy. Often despite our best efforts we find that people do not appreciate what we have done. When we have tried hard to please someone we feel disheartened and upset. Whatever I do is for myself. When I recognize this fact, I will never do anything just to please others. When I am content with the effort I put in, I will never be dependent on others' recognition of what I have done. When I enjoy everything I do, I will be truly happy. The more contented I am, the more others will start appreciating my effort.
The Energy Of Give And Take In Relationships
Love, more than any other virtue, is an extremely positive energy; it is an invisible prime mover and foundation of each one of our lives, a source of motivation and inspiration. People lacking love in their lives are normally lesser motivated and happier than those who have positive and healthy relationships full of love and an immense amount of love in their lives. But when the same energy of love, possessing immense positive potential, is negatively focused and is not used correctly, it leads to many dependencies which are negative in nature. How?

When you love someone, that could be your parents, your spouse, your children, your siblings, your friends, any relationship for that matter; there is a invisible and positive emotional and mental attraction between you and that person which keeps you connected to him/her, but the moment the love turns into attachment and becomes a dependency, that person starts dominating and controlling your inner world of thoughts, feelings and emotions and your mental and emotional freedom is lost. It is as if your inner world succumbs to the influence of the other person and you are no longer yourself. Everything that goes on inside you and that comes out of you has an impression of the other. This kind of love is not empowering, energizing and healing, because in this kind of love, over a period of time, desires, wants and expectations from the other start emerging. All these emotions place you in a mental mode of taking instead of giving.  Also in such a kind of love, where love is mixed with a desire to possess, over a period of time you start wanting to control the other. From this control, you start exercising a power to influence the other. At first you are under their influence. As more attachment builds up, this is followed shortly by your desire to bring them under your submission and influence them. That way, you feel that you have them and that they belong to you. This is love that wants to take and not give. In this kind of relationship of love, there is suffering and sorrow.  Even if joy exists, it is extremely short lived. Unconditional love or love that only wants to give and not take or expect, strengthens and is healing, it never hurts or inflicts pain on the other.

Adjust unreasonable expectations

Expectations are important. They define our boundaries ground rules on how we allow others to treat us.

But often we assume others understand our expectations, so when our expectations are not met, we're hurt disappointed.

To maintain healthy boundaries, learn to communicate expectations clearly adjust unreasonable expectations.

Accuracy brings perfection and speciality in all that is done.

Expression: To be accurate means to take up full responsibility for every task and do it to the best of one's ability. That means all resources that one has are used in the best possible way for the best result of the task. This naturally brings perfection in everything that is done.

Experience: When I am accurate in everything I do I am able to be free from carelessness and negligence. I find myself bringing speciality and uniqueness in what I do. For having done things with accuracy, I also find myself becoming trust-worthy and I am also able to be satisfied with myself.

The nation owes a standing ovation to the Prime Minister for taking this unprecedented and high-risk political decision which is a game-changing multidimensional effort to take on corruption, black money, protect national security and prevent capital flight out of the nation by hawala.

The stunning announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that from the midnight of November 8, 2016, the presently circulating currency notes of Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 denominations will cease to be legal tender is the boldest attack on the scourge of black money that has been devastating the Indian economy for decades.

The measure called for secrecy at all levels, and the government must be first congratulated for ensuring confidentiality despite the fact that it would have involved consultations at various levels.

Now look at some data.

The total currency with the public is close to Rs 16 lakh crore now.

It was a little over Rs  4 lakh crore in 2006.

Cash with the public has risen phenomenally in recent times.

The proportion of the two high denomination notes in the total currency in circulation is over 85 per cent.

It means that Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes account for over Rs 13.5 lakh crore.

The extraordinary rise of the cash economy through high denomination notes was powered by generation of black money in real estate, stocking of gold, bribery and corruption.

While the high denomination notes made illegal businesses, including hawala transactions to transfer money out of India, easy to execute, it facilitated huge tax evasion even in otherwise lawful businesses.

High-denomination notes have made it easy for the bribe taker to handle huge bribes with ease.

The hardest hit by the Modi missile against black money are the corrupt — particularly the political class and the bureaucracy which accounted for bulk of corrupt money. He has fatally hit at both bribery and black money.

It is not that those who have Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes will lose their money represented by the cash on hand in the two denominations. They will have to deposit cash in the two denominations in banks and post offices. They have the time to do so till December 31, 2016.

The Prime Minister has said that the people's money in the two high denomination notes will be theirs and they will not lose it — actually what is cash in their hands in the two denominations will transform into bank deposits in their names.

But those who have the two denominations cannot use them as currency notes after midnight on November 8.

Common people who have limited and legal amount of cash with them will not be affected in any way.

But what about the buccaneers who have sacks and sacks of cash in Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes and deposit it in banks?
They will have to pay tax on the black money they possess. It will not be too surprising if the government rakes in lakhs of crores of tax from the fraudsters.

The corrupt who have sacks of cash may have to lose their money as they will not able to deposit it in their names or in the name of the near and dear.

It is not just a surgical strike against black money. It is also a significant measure to protect national security as high value currency notes in circulation also consist of substantial fake currency printed by Inter Service Intelligence, which will all go up in smoke.

No one can deposit those notes and get genuine currency in return. Yes, as the Prime Minister said, for a couple of days, there will be discomfort for people, traders and others who use cash on a daily basis.

But for a huge national effort against black money of this scale, that is a small price to pay. With a substantial part of the Indian economy being transacted in cash it is not an easy decision to take and execute.

The nation owes a standing ovation to the Prime Minister for taking this unprecedented and high-risk political decision which is a game-changing multidimensional effort to take on corruption, black money, protect national security and prevent capital flight out of the nation by hawala.

At one stroke Modi has established beyond doubt that he means business against both corruption and black economy.

1. Why is this scheme?

The incidence of fake Indian currency notes in higher denomination has increased. For ordinary persons, the fake notes look similar to genuine notes, even though no security feature has been copied. The fake notes are used for anti-national and illegal activities. High denomination notes have been misused by terrorists and for hoarding black money. India remains a cash based economy hence the circulation of Fake Indian Currency Notes continues to be a menace. In order to contain the rising incidence of fake notes and black money, the scheme to withdraw has been introduced.

2. What is this scheme?

The legal tender character of the notes in denominations of ₹ 500 and ₹ 1000 stands withdrawn. In consequence thereof withdrawn old high denomination (OHD) notes cannot be used for transacting business and/or store of value for future usage. The OHD notes can be exchanged for value at any of the 19 offices of the Reserve Bank of India or at any of the bank branches or at any Head Post Office or Sub-Post Office.

3. How much value will I get?

You will get value for the entire volume of notes tendered at the bank branches / RBI offices.

4. Can I get all in cash?

No. You will get upto ₹4000 per person in cash irrespective of the size of tender and anything over and above that will be receivable by way of credit to bank account.

5. Why I cannot get the entire amount in cash when I have surrendered everything in cash?

The Scheme of withdrawal of old high denomination(OHD) notes does not provide for it, given its objectives.

6. ₹4000 cash is insufficient for my need. What to do?

You can use balances in bank accounts to pay for other requirements by cheque or through electronic means of payments such as Internet banking, mobile wallets, IMPS, credit/debit cards etc.

7. What if I don't have any bank account?

You can always open a bank account by approaching a bank branch with necessary documents required for fulfilling the KYC requirements.

8. What if, if I have only JDY account?

A JDY account holder can avail the exchange facility subject to the caps and other laid down limits in accord with norms and procedures.

9. Where can I go to exchange the notes?

The exchange facility is available at all Issue Offices of RBI and branches of commercial banks/RRBS/UCBs/State Co-op banks or at any Head Post Office or Sub-Post Office.

10. Need I go to my bank branch only?

For exchange upto 4000 in cash you may go to any bank branch with valid identity proof.

For exchange over 4000, which will be accorded through credit to Bank account only, you may go to the branch where you have an account or to any other branch of the same bank.

In case you want to go to a branch of any other bank where you are not maintaining an account, you will have to furnish valid identity proof and bank account details required for electronic fund transfer to your account.

11. Can I go to any branch of my bank?

Yes you can go to any branch of your bank.

12. Can I go to any branch of any other bank?

Yes, you can go to any branch of any other bank. In that case you have to furnish valid identity proof for exchange in cash; both valid identity proof and bank account details will be required for electronic fund transfer in case the amount to be exchanged exceeds ₹4000.

13. I have no account but my relative / friend has an account, can I get my notes exchanged into that account?

Yes, you can do that if the account holder relative/friend etc gives you permission in writing. While exchanging, you should provide to the bank, evidence of permission given by the account holder and your valid identity proof.

14. Should I go to bank personally or can I send the notes through my representative?

Personal visit to the branch is preferable. In case it is not possible for you to visit the branch you may send your representative with an express mandate i.e. a written authorisation. The representative should produce authority letter and his / her valid identity proof while tendering the notes.

15. Can I withdraw from ATM?

It may take a while for the banks to recalibrate their ATMs. Once the ATMs are functional, you can withdraw from ATMs upto a maximum of ₹2,000/- per card per day upto 18th November, 2016. The limit will be raised to ₹4000/- per day per card from 19th November 2016 onwards.

16. Can I withdraw cash against cheque?

Yes, you can withdraw cash against withdrawal slip or cheque subject to ceiling of ₹10,000/- in a day within an overall limit of ₹20,000/- in a week (including withdrawals from ATMs) for the first fortnight i.e. upto 24th November 2016.

17. Can I deposit withdrawn notes through ATMs, Cash Deposit Machine or cash Recycler?

Yes, OHD notes can be deposited in Cash Deposits machines / Cash Recyclers.

18. Can I make use of electronic (NEFT/RTGS /IMPS/ Internet Banking / Mobile banking etc.) mode?

You can use NEFT/RTGS/IMPS/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking or any other electronic/ non-cash mode of payment.

19. How much time do I have to exchange the notes?

The scheme closes on 30th December 2016. The OHD banknotes can be exchanged at branches of commercial banks, Regional Rural Banks, Urban Cooperative banks, State Cooperative Banks and RBI till 30th December 2016.

For those who are unable to exchange their Old High Denomination Banknotes on or before December 30, 2016, an opportunity will be given to them to do so at specified offices of the RBI, along with necessary documentation as may be specified by the Reserve Bank of India.

20. I am right now not in India, what should I do?

If you have OHD banknotes in India, you may authorise in writing enabling another person in India to deposit the notes into your bank account. The person so authorised has to come to the bank branch with the OHD banknotes, the authority letter given by you and a valid identity proof (Valid Identity proof is any of the following: Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Pass Port, NREGA Card, PAN Card, Identity Card Issued by Government Department, Public Sector Unit to its Staff)

21. I am an NRI and hold NRO account, can the exchange value be deposited in my account?

Yes, you can deposit the OHD banknotes to your NRO account.

22. I am a foreign tourist, I have these notes. What should I do?

You can purchase foreign exchange equivalent to ₹5000 using these OHD notes at airport exchange counters within 72 hours after the notification, provided you present proof of purchasing the OHD notes.

23. I have emergency needs of cash (hospitalisation, travel, life saving medicines) then what I should do?

You can use the OHD notes for paying for your hospitalisation charges at government hospitals, for purchasing bus tickets at government bus stands for travel by state government or state PSU buses, train tickets at railway stations, and air tickets at airports, within 72 hours after the notification.

24. What is proof of identity?

Valid Identity proof is any of the following: Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, Pass Port, NREGA Card, PAN Card, Identity Card Issued by Government Department, Public Sector Unit to its Staff.
