Another day......
Suspicious Wife: Where are you?
Husband : At home love. Wife: Are you sure?

Wife: Ok my love goodbye.
The next day, the wife decides to go home without notice, and finds her son alone and she asks him, "Son, where is your father?"
Son: "I don't know, he went out with the mixer... 😑😬😳

Signal Shala is a school that operates out of a shipping container under a flyover in Thane ( Mumbai ) . The school educates needy street kids who were previously forced to sell knick-knacks or beg for alms at signals. Today, these children are given a good education and are bathed, groomed and fed a healthy meal every day!

World's first hydrogen train to go into service in Germany :- The train - called the "Coradia iLint" - has been developed over the past two years by French company Alstom and was presented on Tuesday at the Berlin InnoTrans trade show.

The hydrogen train operates using a hydrogen fuel tank, stored on the roof of the train, that in turn powers a fuel cell to produce electrical energy. This technology provides a new environmentally friendly alternative to the diesel trains that are still used across much of Germany. 1 minute video

Looking for an experienced Sales Trainer on the payroll to train/coach/mentor Sales and Technical members of a mid-sized software company in Bangalore.

Job Description:

Position Name / Designation: Sales Trainer Coach

Position summary:

 The Sales Trainer is a key person who will be handling the entire sales customer service training process, primarily of the front-line sales support team members.

 The Sales Trainer will be responsible for creating and delivering sales training programs and individual coaching sessions on campaigns nationwide. In this role, the trainer will be expected to travel on need basis and will be based out of Bangalore when not on the road.

 Reports into Sales Head

Sales Trainer Responsibilities:

 Plan, organize, and deliver comprehensive sales and customer service training programs.

 Coordinate with sales leaders, training personnel, and employees to develop effective training systems.

 Seek feedback and communicate with partners, peers, and management.

 Develop online LMS development tools, reference materials, and course work.

 Develop in-house certification programs, rewards, and recognition programs

 Monitor training effectiveness and assess performance, trends, and skill gaps to ensure training objectives are satisfied.

 Conduct assessments of individuals teams across different groups on weekly / fortnightly / monthly basis across all centres

 Evaluate progress of training through pre-post assessments, created in tandem with sales head

 Create coaching plan conduct coaching on 1-1 as well as focus group basis

 Ensure timely completion of the prescribed content across all the centres.

 Maintain and update MIS in coordination with sales head

 Prepare and submit the following: weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports using the standard desired reporting formats.

Job Eligibility

 Education:

o Relevant Bachelor / Masters Degree with experience in imparting skill trainings

 Experience:

o 10 years or above in a sales role (preferably field sales, B2B sales; B2C sales)

o 4 to 6 years in a training role, with sales, customer service communication skills as core focus areas

 Knowledge and Skills:

o Good and effective communication skills having fluency in English (written spoken)

o Demonstrable sales skills, coaching skills training skills

o Fluency in spoken Kannada, Hindi South Indian languages will be an advantage

o Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

o Good counseling and motivational abilities

Even septic-tank water will turn as holly as Ganga water if you add Chlorine to it. Anyway if it is as good as you boast it is, then why spend millions in clearing it up.

In 1972 while in college the National Service Scheme arranged for 4 of us to stay with some Sarvodaya families in a village called Akkapur near Symbaoli in Meerut district. I spent about a month with the Brahmin family of one Bagavanth Singji Sindhu. They boast they came from the Sindhu region and so the Sindhu tag to their name. They knew only Hindi and I knew next to nothing about Hindi. So I was forced to keep my lips sealed for the month. Once I could not find my soap. I asked them for soap. But they did not understand the English word 'soap.' I gesticulated and mimed and ultimately someone caught on and said the word 'sabun' Now that is one Hindi word I shall never forget to the end of my days which is not far off.

One day they took me to Rishikesh. It was at the tail-end of rainy season with river all muddy from the strong currents. There were huge gangs of monkeys all along the banks of the river fighting and snarling at each other. All their shit and all kinds of refuse were being washed into the river. I did not wish to get into the muddy, shitty river. But at the kind prodding of my hosts I went in to the river reluctantly. Then my hosts began drinking the muddy water and asked me too to drink of it. I refused.

Anyway it was a memorable event in my life and I must say they made the best of hosts. I found my way there again the year before last. There is very little change there with flies settling over everything including cow-dung and food. I had gone there after a visit to Manali and had taken a pashmina shawl for the lady of the house who had been very young and beautiful at the time of first visit but has grown old with sagging - you know what. They had completely forgotten me and try as I might they could not recall me. Then I mentioned the names of the joint family I lived with in 1972. Still she was not convinced. The Pashmina seemed to help. They invited me to lunch and I had lunch with them and the omnipresent flies swarming all over. They invited me to return with my wife. I would like to go there again. But when I think of the flies and the open sewers and the cowdung I simply dont have the heart for it. But maybe I will work up some courage and return for a few nights of the ultimate hospitality.

One of my friends Muralidhar was staying with another farmer. This farmer had two wives - one young and one not so young. A sanyasin was also staying with the farmer and he was given the best room in the house with the younger and the better looking of the wives thrown in to keep him warm. I wished I were that Sanyasin who did not have to work for a living but had the best of what his world had to offer from the fruits of another man's labour.
