Two Days We Should Not Worry
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,
two days which should be kept free
from fear and apprehension.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
One of these days is YESTERDAY
with all its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders,
its aches and pains.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
YESTERDAY has passed forever
beyond our control.
All the money in the world
cannot bring back YESTERDAY.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
We cannot undo a single act we performed;
we cannot erase a single word we said.
YESTERDAY is gone forever.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
The other day we should not
worry about is TOMORROW
with all its possible adversities, burdens,
its large promise and its poor performance;
TOMORROW is also beyond our immediate control.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
TOMORROW'S sun will rise, either in splendor
or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in
TOMORROW, for it is yet to be born.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
This leaves only one day, TODAY.
Any person can fight the battle of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens
of those two awful eternities
YESTERDAY and TOMORROW that we break down.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
It is not the experience of TODAY
that drives a person mad...
It is the remorse or bitterness of something
which happened YESTERDAY and the
dread of what TOMORROW may bring.
Fun & Info @ Keralites.net
Let us, therefore,
Live but One Day at a Time.

Your Unique Fashion Style
The most common complaint I hear women say about their fashion is, "I'll never look that good, I don't have great style".
Does this sound like you? If so, I need to give you a friendly slap. Lovelies, please wipe such thoughts from your mind. No matter what you say you're 100% wrong!
Everyone has a unique style. Period. It's just a matter of finding it. But once you do, it's as easy as having the confidence and using your unique style to your advantage.
Finding your unique fashion style has nothing to do with being able to afford the most expensive "it" name brand clothing. It has nothing do with how many different outfits you have in your closet or even whether your wardrobe contains the latest in fashion trends. Nope, finding your unique fashion style is all about knowing what works for you and enhancing it to work even better.

How do you do that? Easy. Pay attention to how you feel with certain things you wear. And especially take notice when you get the most compliments. Do you feel more confident when you're wearing skirts as opposed to pants? If so, skirts might be part of your unique fashion style. Are jeans more your thing? That's cool, rock them with heels or flats or sporty loafers like shown below. Do people compliment your selection in accessories? Perfect, then accessories might be your flair.
The point is – find what works for you and accentuate it.

Here's a great example. Hats are part of my unique fashion style. But I didn't always know this. In fact, I didn't figure this out until just a few years ago. How did I realize this? It was mostly because a light bulb went off by about the 800 person who told me I look good in hats. Yes, when it comes to taking compliments I can be clueless too.
Once I realized hats are one of my things, I started wearing them even more. As you can see I'm wearing one in my profile photo. And now I'll find any excuse to wear them. "Oh…it's a bit chilly out? Guess I should wear a hat." Or if I'm having a bad hair day, it's the perfect time for a hat.

I also realized glasses, both sun and regular, are a style that works for me too. And accessories like scarves and necklaces and lots of bracelets are my friends as well. I'm not a big earrings kind of gal though. I get annoyed by them sometimes. But if they're your thing, be sure to rock them like no one else..
So whether your style is high fashion or a laid-back weekend style seven days a week, the point I'm after here is wearing what you feel best in is usually what gives you the most confidence; and confidence is in turn what creates the spark behind your unique fashion style. It really is as easy as that.
Thanks for stopping by!

[www.keralites.net] SEBI eases share transfer norms for deceased holders’ accounts

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) today simplified the procedure for transfer of securities from the account of a deceased person and raised the threshold limit for such transactions in demat format to Rs 5 lakh.
The move is aimed at making transmission of securities in both dematerialised and physical modes more efficient and investor friendly.

Transmission refers to the transfer of securities from the account of a deceased holder to that of surviving joint holder, nominee or legal heir.

Simplifying the process, SEBI the threshold value for transmission of demat securities —— in the case of deceased person without a nominee —— has been increased to Rs 5 lakh. Earlier, the limit was Rs 1 lakh.
The changes have been made after reviewing the process followed by share transfer agents and the issuer companies for effecting transmission of securities. In this regard, Sebi also held deliberations with Registrars Association of India (RAIN) and the depositories.

For transmission of securities in physical mode, where the securities are held in single name with a nominee, Sebi asked share transfer agents or issuer companies to follow the standardised documentary requirement specified by it, according to a circular.

This process requires an application in a prescribed format, along with supporting documents, as evidence for the death of the holder.

For securities held in single name without a nominee, SEBI has said that additional documents such as identity card and claim of legal ownership to the securities might be sought.
In case, the valuations of such securities are over Rs 2 lakh, a succession certificate or probate of will or Letter of Administration or court decree is required.

The timeline for processing the transmission requests for securities held in dematerialised and physical mode would be 7 days and 21 days respectively, after receipt of the prescribed documents

[www.keralites.net] Giving the Right Advice

One of the kindergarten students asked his teen ager cousin to help him in writing essay on the subject "The Poor Family".
His cousin, son of a billionaire, wrote the essay like this:

"Once upon a time, there was a poor family. Both husband and wife were very poor. They had two kids which were poor as well. All four servants were also poor. The 3 dogs of the house were also poor. The family didn't dine out for the last five days. One of the three Mercedes was not serviced in last month. It was more than 6 months they didn't go out to another country for vacations. So in short they were very poor"

The cousin made serious efforts in writing this essay but completely failed. His essay portrays the low level of comprehension about the subject he was asked to write about. Seems like he had never seen the real poor people in his life. Seems like he was never exposed to the financial crisis and complications of poor's lives in a practical way. So his mentalparadigmto define the poorness was really terrible.

Let ustransform this example on the adults to learn something:
1-If you needadvice on any subject, ask the wise. Ask the person with the relevant experience and knowledge. Professionally speaking, consultation to be done with the qualified professional having right expertise else there is a big chance for you to be misguided.
2-Severaltimesin your life, you are approached by your friends or colleagues for advice and you start speaking on the subject on the spot whether you have adequate knowledge about it or not. Don't do this by beingexplosive! There is nothing wrong in confessing that you don't have good advice to give due to less or no knowledge on the subject . It is not obligatory for you to open your mouth on every single thing. Be vigilant in what you say because you might become the root cause for someone's failure. If time permits, investigate the subject, judgethe situation, seekassistance from someone who is knowledgeable andtrustworthy.

Giving advice is a matter of honesty. Put yourself in their shoes, thinkwise and then provide constructive feedback or suggestions orcriticismelse you may lose your respect for life time !
