You are absolutely right Mr.Vasu. KSRTC should learn from APSRTC,Karnataka,etc.For KSRTC there is no proper booking counter, online booking is not efficient and more over the long service buses are not comfortable(push back seats buses are few).Public uses private buses more.

Celebrate the reason for the season...!

ksrtc ....students concession card കൊടുക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടിടുണ്ടോ ??? എന്ത് മാത്രം ക്ലെറിക്കല്‍ ജോലി ...അവര്‍ക്ക് എത്ര രൂപ ശമ്പളം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു ..students.ന്റെ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ക്ലാസ്സ്‌ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ രക്ഷിതാക്കളുടെ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ജോലി നഷ്ടപ്പെടും ..പണ്ടേക്കു പണ്ടേ computerise ചെയ്യാവുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും ജാംബവാന്‍ style....ആ railway booking clerk ഒരു ദിവസം എത്ര ticket/season ticket issue ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് നോക്കണം ...that also within least time...അതാണ്‌ efficiency/cost reduction.....tamilnadu punjab state-കളില്‍ private bunk-ല്‍ നിന്ന് diesel അടിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി ...ഇവിടെ ഇപ്പോഴും ആലോചനയില്‍ ആണ് ...

ഇതൊന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് പാവങ്ങാട് ഡിപ്പോയിലെ കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി. അധികൃതരെ പേടിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നോക്കേണ്ട. കാരണം, അഞ്ചുകിലോമീറ്റര്‍ അപ്പുറത്തുള്ള ബാങ്കില്‍ പണമടയ്ക്കാന്‍ ഫാസ്റ്റ്പാസഞ്ചര്‍ ബസ്സെടുത്താണ് ഇവരുടെ യാത്ര.

പണമിടപാടുകള്‍ക്ക് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന ജീപ്പ് അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണിക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയപ്പോഴാണ് അധികൃതര്‍ ഈ 'സൂപ്പര്‍' യാത്ര തുടങ്ങിയത്. പണം കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന ആള്‍മാത്രമാണ് ബസ്സില്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുക. ലഭ്യതയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് ബസ്സ് ചിലപ്പോള്‍ ഫാസ്റ്റ്പാസഞ്ചറും സൂപ്പര്‍ ഫാസ്റ്റുമാവും.

ഡിസംബര്‍മുതല്‍ കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി.യിലാണ് ഈ പണമടയ്ക്കാന്‍പോകല്‍. ഇതിനായി ബസ്സുകള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തണം എന്നതുമാത്രമല്ല അതിനായി ഒരാളെ ഡ്യൂട്ടിക്കിടുകയും വേണം. ഡീസല്‍ വിലവര്‍ധനകൊണ്ടും മറ്റും നട്ടംതിരിയുന്ന കെ.എസ്.ആര്‍.ടി.സി.യാണ് അഞ്ചുകിലോമീറ്ററില്‍ കുറഞ്ഞ യാത്ര ഇത്രയ്ക്ക് ധൂര്‍ത്താക്കുന്നത്. ആറുമാസമായിട്ടും ജീപ്പിന്റെ അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണി കഴിയാത്തതാണ് ഇതിനു കാരണം.
