കാര്‍മുകില്‍ വര്‍ണ്ണ നീ..എവിടെ
എന്തേ..ചിരിതൂകി മറഞ്ഞതെന്തേ ?
കാളിന്ദീ തീരൊത്തോ..പയ്യിന്റെ ചാരൊത്തോ..
നീലക്കാര്‍വര്‍ണ്ണനെ കണ്ടതില്ല..!
വിളയാട്ടായ് എന്നുമെന്‍ കണ്ണുപൊത്തും,അവന്‍
ഒരംമ്പാടി തെന്നലായ് മുന്നിലെത്തും..!
പൊയ് വാക്കുകേളാതിയെന്‍ കണ്‍നനച്ചാലും,
സ്നേഹപാലാഴിയായ് എന്നെ ഊയലാട്ടും..!
വേണുവിലീണമായ് പ്രേമം ഓതും അതില്‍
വീണു ഞാന്‍ സ്വരരാഗതാളമാകും..!
മാനും,മാമരവും,മയിലും,പൂങ്കുയിലും,
കൂട്ടേരാടൊപ്പമത് കണ്ടു നില്‍ക്കും
വൃന്ദാവനെമന്നും പ്രണയശില്പമാകും..!
യദുകുലനാഥനെ കണ്ടതില്ല ഇന്നെന്‍ ,
യാദവന്‍ യാതൊന്നും ചൊന്നതില്ല..!
മാധവന്‍ തന്നുടെ മൌനെമന്നില്‍
മധുരനൊമ്പരം, പിന്നെ സങ്കടമായ്..!
പൈക്കെളെ മേയ്ക്കുവാന്‍ വന്നൊരു നേരത്തു
സഖികളോടോത്തവന്‍ കണ്ടതല്ലേ എന്നെ
കാണുവാനായ് നീ കാത്തു നിന്നതല്ലെ..!
ഒരു നോട്ടം കൊണ്ടു ഞാന്‍ നോക്കിയില്ലേ,
അവനെ നോക്കുവാനായ് മാത്രം വന്നതല്ലേ..!
കണ്ണിണകളാല്‍ അവനെന്നെ വിളിച്ച നേരം,
കണ്മണി- ഞാനൊരു തടഞ്ഞു പൊയി..!
പരിഭവിച്ചെങ്ങോ മറഞ്ഞു കണ്ണന്‍
കാണാതീരത്തെങ്ങണ്ടോ നിറഞ്ഞു കണ്ണന്‍..!
കണികാണാന്‍ നിന്നെ ഇനി എന്ത് വേണം
മിഴിതുള്ളികള്‍ കോര്‍ത്ത പൂമാല വേണോ?
ഏഴുനിറങ്ങളാല്‍ തീര്‍ത്ത സ്നേഹപ്പീലി വേണൊ?
അറിയുന്നു കണ്ണാ ഒളി കണ്ണിനാല്‍ നീ എന്നെ
കാണുന്നു;കണ്ടു രസിച്ചിടുന്നു!
എന്‍ കണ്‍മറച്ചിട്ട്, എന്തിനീ പരിഭവം?
എന്തിനീ കണ്‍കെട്ട്, എന്തിനീ ദുര്വ്യധ?
കണ്ണന്റെ പെണ്ണല്ലേ,രാധയല്ലേ,ഞാന്‍
കാര്‍മെഘവര്‍ണ്ണന്റെ പ്രണയിനി രാധയല്ലേ ..!!!

1. The Berlin Nuclear Bunker, Berlin, Germany

Thisradiation-proof bunkerwas built during 1971 while the Cold War was still a reality. Its eerily silent and you can feel the cool air invade your body. There is a series of bunk beds that can sleep just over 3,500 weary people. The historical bunker was designed to house people for up to 14 days in case of a nuclear attack in Berlin.

2. The Paris Sewers, Paris, France

This fantastic system is 1,300 miles in length and it sees thousands of gallons of water flow through it every day. You can view over 450 feet of the sewer system in action and learn how it operates with a tour of the attraction. A history of sewers is also offered.

3. Cu Chi Tunnels, Vietnam

You enter these amazing tunnels by crawling through a narrow trapdoor into a series of tunnels which lead to an underground village. The area features a meeting room, dormitory, kitchen, and even a hospital. It was used during the Vietnam War by the Viet Cong as thousands of them were placed inside the 125-mile series of tunnels. The tunnels were bombed several times, but were never captured.

4. Aktun Chen Eco Park Caves, Yucatan, Mexico

This network of caves allows you to stroll past subterranean rivers, which are known locally as cenotes. Youll be able to see through the deep, clear waters all the way to the bottom of the natural wells where the floors are white.

The caves feature some of the most amazing rock formations anywhere in the world with fossils, stalagmites, stalactites, and small fruit bats all adding to the atmosphere underneath the unspoilt rain forest. You can explore this magnificent spectacle by diving and on foot.

5. The Underground City, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

This amazing underground network is known as La Ville Souterraine or RESO. Its basically a series of above and below ground complexes that are connected together in downtown Montreal. Its often referred to as the indoor city and is the largest of its kind in the world.

The sections of the underground network are connected by huge air conditioned tunnels which feature shops, hotels, apartment buildings, offices, banks, condominiums, museums, schools, a bus terminal, metro stations, and the Bell Centre arena. There are over 20 miles of tunnels in total and 120 exterior entrances to the network. Its estimated that about half a million people use some part of the underground city each day during the winter months.

6. Hannans North Mine, Kalgoorlie, Australia

This Australian mine is 100 feet below the ground and can be accessed via a caged elevator. The tunnels were originally dug out in the countrys famous gold rush during the 19^thcentury. While visiting, you can enjoy the experience of panning for real gold. The Kalgoorlie mine still manufactures 10 per cent of the earths gold.

7. Wieliczka Salt Mine, Krakow, Poland

Salt used to be as important to the world as oil is today and this is why there were so many salt mines across the globe years ago. This mine in Krakow features miles of underground passages as well as huge caverns which are more than 400 feet deep.

This is a popular UNESCO heritage site which attracts over a million visitors a year. The mine features lakes, statues and chapels which have been sculpted out of salt, as well as the biggest mining museum in the world. In addition, youll find a concert hall with excellent acoustics.

[www.keralites.net] Chilli chicken dry

1 kg boneless chicken

2 tbsp soya sauce

2 tbsp green chilli sauce

ajinomoto a pinch (optional)

salt according to taste

black pepper according to taste

3-4 chopped green chillies

1 tbsp choped garlic

1 tbsp cornflour

2 tbsp all purpose flour (maida)

1 egg

2 medium onions diced ( square pieces)

1 capsicum or green pepper diced (square pieces)

Marinate the chicken in soya sauce, egg, salt, pepper, ajinomoto,

flour, cornflour, half garlic and green chilli sauce for 1 hour.

NOTE: all the tablespoon ingredients should be added half in the marinade,

if soya sauce is 2 tbsp then add 1tbsp in marinade and the other half while cooking.

After 1 hour, fry the chicken pieces till they are brown and

keep them on a tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.

Now in the same oil add chopped garlic, green chillies,

fry for 2 minutes, now add fried chicken, onions and capsicum.

Saute on high flame, add all the half ingredients- salt, pepper,

ajinomoto, soya sauce and green chilli sauce.

Add 1/2 tsp vinegar

Serve hot with fried rice or noodles.

Also can be served as an appetiser.

the chicken can also be fried with a coat of cornflakes to it....

one can dip the chicken in the batter and then dip it in the

cornflakes crumbs...and then fry it..

the result would be superbly lip smacking..

please use cornflakes only and nothing else, nt even cornflour.

AVOID

1. Screaming at the child.

2. Embarrassing the child.

3. Shaming the child.

4. Labeling the child.

5. Threatening the child.

6. Hitting the child.

7. Hurting the child in any way.

8. Indulging the child.

9. Reinforcing inappropriate behavior by giving in to his/her outbursts.

1- Accept the child as a valuable human being.

2- Accentuate his/her strengths.

3- Acknowledge appropriate behavior.

4- Provide a safe, respectful environment with clear limits.

5- Follow through with meaningful consequences for aggressive acts.

6- Provide a predictable day with opportunities for the child to make choices.

7- Model kindness, fairness, firmness, and consistency.

8- Watch the child carefully noting the antecedents to hostile behavior.

9- Anticipate angry outbursts and arrange activities to reduce them.

10- Understand that anger is often a reaction to feeling misunderstood, unloved, hurt or afraid.

11- Assist the child in learning and using a vocabulary of feeling words.

12- Listen and mirror the feelings he/she expresses.

13- Facilitate communication between the child and others.

14- Teach the child that anger is a natural emotion that everyone has.

15- Help the child understand that it is okay to feel angry, but that it is not okay to hurt others.

16- Provide a safe place for the child to calm him/herself.

17- Teach the child ways to cope with angry impulses: stop and think, problem solve, sit alone, breathe deeply, tense body and relax, use play dough, count, draw, exercise, rest or read.

18- Help the child meet his/her psychological needs: to feel loved, accepted, secure, recognized, and a part of a group
