അഴിമതിക്കെതിരെ യുദ്ധം നയിക്കാന്‍ 'ഇന്ത്യന്‍' വീണ്ടും അവതരിക്കുമെന്ന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. രാജ്യത്ത് അഴിമതി രൂക്ഷമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ അണ്ണാ ഹസാരയുടെ നിരാഹാര സമരത്തിന് ലഭിച്ച ജനപിന്തുണയാണ് ഇന്ത്യനെ വീണ്ടും എത്തിക്കാന്‍ അണിയറക്കാരെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. നിര്‍മ്മാതാവ് എ.എം രത്‌നം തന്നെയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന് രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം ഒരുക്കണമെന്ന നിര്‍ദേശം സംവിധായകന്‍ ഷങ്കറിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ത്രീ ഇഡിയറ്റ്‌സിന്റെ തമിഴ് റീമേക്കായ നന്‍പന്റെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് തിരിക്കിലുള്ള ഷങ്കറും ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു ആലോചനയുള്ള കാര്യം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 'എ.എം രത്‌നം ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു നിര്‍ദേശം വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നന്‍പന്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകട്ടെ അതിന് ശേഷം ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കാം'-ഷങ്കര്‍ പറയുന്നു.

അഴിമതിക്കും അധികാരദുര്‍വിനിയോഗത്തിനുമെതിരെ ഒറ്റയാള്‍ പോരാട്ടം നടത്തിയ സേനാപതി(ഇന്ത്യന്‍) എന്ന കമലാഹസന്റെ കഥാപാത്രം ഇന്ത്യ മുഴുവന്‍ ഏറ്റെടുത്ത ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു. മികച്ച നടനുള്ള ദേശീയ പുരസ്‌കാരം ഉള്‍പ്പടെ നിരവധി അവാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ വാരിക്കൂട്ടിയ ചിത്രം ഓസ്‌കര്‍ എന്‍ട്രിയായി ഇന്ത്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരുന്നു. കമലാഹസനെ ഇരട്ടവേഷത്തില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച 'ഇന്ത്യന്‍' സാങ്കേതിക തികവും ക്രാഫ്റ്റും ദൃശ്യമനോഹാരിതയും അഭിനയമികവും സുന്ദര ഗാനങ്ങളും എല്ലാം ഒത്തുചേര്‍ത്ത അപൂര്‍വം ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നായിരുന്നു.
